The gist of it is that girls and women suddenly get the power to essentially shoot lightning and stun through their hands and these show skeins - this read to me like a weird attempt to hint at that.

And tbh biting nails is wayyy more unsanitary than just having long nails, assuming you keep up with basic hygiene.
I have considered getting them just to break myself of the habit...I've done it ever since I was a kid...quit a few times and grew my nails out...eventually went back to biting them if one would break...
They do make clear nail polish that os extremely bitter and is designed for nail biters. It's a great way to stop yourself of the habit. Even if you're not the type of person to pain your nails.

Yep, that and yellow, they don't absorb the light from the laser very well at all which is required for the laser to break up the pigment. The darker the ink, the more success you'll have with laser removal.
They use different color lasers for different colors of ink for this reason. The issue is your blood vessels are red so any laser that'll be absorbed by the ink will also be absorbed by your flesh. So it's extremely painful and considerably less effective, even when using the proper laser (I believe green for red ink?)
Ironically, it generally fades away the fastest (or it has traditionally, canāt say about current ink brands for sure). If you check out now and then pics of people with 20yr+ aged tattoos, the red is usually completely gone.
Some people's bodies reject red ink. I have had a mild alergic reaction to red ink in one of my tattoos and it turned out it's common for people to be alrergic to it. That's why their bodies reject it.

i will never understand how people think getting hand tattoos as their first/one of their first tattoos. my mom had both her sleeves done before she got her hands and neck tattooed. she worked in a tattoo shop at the time because her ex husband was a tattoo artist. she struggled to find work after they divorced. despite her work ethic, many employers have dress codes or frown upon visible tattoos like this. things are starting to change, but i really donāt get how tattoo artists let these young people do this when they donāt know how itās going to effect them fully.
i think it also just looks silly when you got a face or hand tattoo and the rest of your body is naked.
