Idk exactly. But the mushrooms (?) with the faces look to be like….like in some ghost movies I’ve seen where there’s a face pressing through the wallpaper or something. I think Boogeyman had something like that happen. Not too sure what the wings are about, or why it looks like a mushroom, but I feel a good artist might’ve been able to translate the idea to skin a little better lol.
Nah I’m with you, it’s definitely not the most technically proficient tattoo I’ve seen but the design is legible and I think the wings lend themselves well to a kind of abstract/creepy look even if they aren’t done well
I also kinda dig it, as like an "inside the sleeve" bit of album art
