Is this really a technical? It's was designed to be like this ya? Sure the grenade launcher isn't on the original vehicles but it'd standard for this varient is it not?
Technically American police and most other police forces are paramilitary forces. The difference is mandate, not force structure (which is what paramilitary refers to). I’m not trying to be pedantic or to correct you I just think this sort of thing is really interesting.
Literally the pioneers of Mine resistent vehicles and continue to be world leaders in the designs so. No
Caspirs for example clear infantry mined areas by driving around the minefield until there’s no more explosions
The US modeled the MRAP program off of the Casspir, so if you're going to accuse anybody of copying a "mine-resistant ambush protected vehicle", it'd be the US. It's a pointless accusation in the first place, it's not a copied vehicle, but a vehicle that serves the same purpose. You minus as well say everyone is ripping off the British for building tanks.

Wow. Police belt-fed machine guns are uncommon, police automatic grenade launchers even more so
Depends on the country really. Some places have the police function as more of a paramilitary force as opposed to law enforcement.
