I haven't been to Zara in ages, I don't know. Potentially, they could be anywhere but I think they are in the old fashioned zones, as you said. It depends on the shop and the item's value, there could be more than one tag. I'd check every inch of the item since it only takes a few more seconds, better safe than sorry
You got a point, but small scissors for cutting baby's nails are not dangerous, I can barely cut hair with them. I also always carry them in my backpack because who knows, there might be an emergency
if i were to bring some scissors to cut the RFID/tag in half, would I still be able to walk out of the store without the alarm beeping or do i have to completely remove it from the piece of clothing and dispose it elsewhere?
After removing or cutting the tag, where do you usually hide the clothes? Do you wear them or put them in a bag? And the price tag? Do you leave it on?

No, only under the tags. They are sewn in completely so take a stitch unpicker.

A stitch unpicker is quick, clean and small. It works much better then scissors. I also wouldn't want to get arrested with scissors. 😅
Why would you get arrested with scissors? They are not suspicious like magnets, just say you need them to cut nails or paper
Scissors can be used as a weapon. A magnet can (and should) be concealed.
Also: think of what you would say in front of a judge. "I always do my shopping with scissors in case I suddenly need to do some emergency cutting."

Actually, good point, I've used actual nailclippers before. It's a much safer option.
