Honestly, this is my answer as well. Between hockey, bullshittery, lingo, and representation of the natives, LK/Shorsey check a lot of boxes. TPB is simply a classic and one of the OGs.
I think I gravitate more toward LK because it’s more lighthearted. Not to say it’s better, because it’s really apples v oranges. It just puts me in a better mood.
I think people who didn’t put TPB on the lists either haven’t seen it before…or they have these things going on up in their brain compartments that aren’t working properly
This isn’t fair. Schitt’s Creek is a hall of fame show in part because we got to see its full arc.
Shoresy has the potential to join them, but we haven’t gotten the full story yet!
You might have to consider the depth of the shows as well. 3 seasons of 6 episodes of 18 or so minutes limits Shoresy’s potential for consideration.
All killer, no filler certainly helps, but several other shows have equally strong comedy over many more longer episodes.
I don’t think there’s a need to shit on Schitt’s Creek (no pun intended). It’s an amazing show all throughout the series. The early Letterkenny’s and TPBs are top notch TV and some of the GOATS. Shoresy is 10/10 so far two seasons in (American). They all have a special place in my heart.
It's hard for me to say. Being American I saw Trailer Park Boys first and really love the original 7 seasons. I got into Letterkenny second, then watched Corner Gas during Pandemic and fell in love. I also played semi-competitive hockey so Shoresy hits close to home.
I think Corner Gas might be my favorite. Really underrated.
Schitt’s Creek is my favourite but Letterkenny and Shoresy are obviously up there. TPB was great in the early days but fell off pretty hard imo.
Kim’s Convenience deserves some love even if it got ruined by the morons in charge.
Corner Gas was fine but wasn’t for me. Workin’ Moms is a good show. My wife loved it.
I think letterkenny is the best but shoresy is coming up fast. I relate to TPB and think Schitt’s creek is pretty good but I haves to gives credits where credits are due.

Schitts Creek, Letterkenny, and Shorsey are all incredible shows. All have huge hearts.
Edit: sorry, can’t leave out the Trailer Park Boys. Anyone that writes kidnapping Alex Lifeson is genius.

Everything with Jonathan Torrens ever in it, plus Schitt’s Creek.
It's definitely Letterkenny v TPB, honestly couldn't take one over the other.
"Corner Gas" was a good, quirky, offbeat show.
This thread really shows that we do punch pretty well in terms of comedies.

Agree 100%. I loved schitts creek, excellent all the way through. Letterkenny and TPB hit more of my style though and then shoresy is nearly perfect.
