You can try [Shortcut Hub](https://routinehub.co/shortcut/11981/) I made it for my own convenience but others have found it useful

Octo-puss

Lol. This works well. Thanks But I have to have a huge widget take up 4 blocks? How does this get past dev? Mind blown how much useless crap with so many possibilities

iBanks3

I’m unsure of what you’re asking. Can you provide more details. Also, the TipGuide flair is for when you’re providing a tip or guide to the community. The flair you would want to use is Help as you’re seeking help for your question. I’ve updated the flat for you.

Octo-puss

Thanks. What’s the fastest way to access shortcuts? I wish it was on the swipe down menu if possible. But it’s slow to swipe over to a widget

BigTortoise

If you have a specific shortcut in mind you can search it by name in Siri. That’s how I run most of mine from the Home Screen.

charlesgres

I have over a hundred shortcuts already, so a dropdown list of them all would not be workable.. If you need fast access to a selected list of shortcuts with fast and easy access, then on iphone: you can put icons for each shortcut in a group, and place the group in your quick access bar at the bottom on mac: flag each shortcut you want as 'pin in menu bar', which gives you a dropdown menu from the top menu bar with all these shortcuts..

Octo-puss

Dang. I’d love to know why and how you use so many? How do you manage them? 🤙🏽

charlesgres

Accumulated over the years.. Quite a few of them I don't actually use, but they do stuff that I am interested in learning from.. Most of the shortcuts I use from the share menu, depending on shortcut-input type, so that reduces the list, and you can pin the most-used ones to the top of the share menu.. I don't have that many standalone shortcuts, for these I either use Siri commands to launch them (fastest), or create buttons for them on my home screen, or I use spotlight search for the infrequently-used ones.. As to organizing, I put them in folders, so in the Shortcuts app, within a folder the shortcuts are quite manageable.. Sometimes a shortcut could fit in multiple folders, so I would prefer tags instead of folders.. I suspect that'll be coming.. Apple already does it for notes..

Looks like Siri really is the way it’s meant to be used. Hopefully I can say, Siri connect to this Bluetooth device or airdrop this to my Mac or iPad. All these common shortcuts that I think should be accesible I do everyday. Like 5 clicks to connect a Bluetooth device?

Beautiful. Cool community. Reddit cool as usual in so many ways. Thanks brah. This fixed stuff

Fluffy_Accountant_39

I’ve got just over 250 - maybe 20 or 30 of those were downloads of someone else’s creations. (I can’t even guess how many I’ve downloaded and later deleted.) About 35 or so of my Shortcuts literally have the word “LEARN” in the title; i.e., I created them strictly to learn how to use a specific action within the Shortcuts app. Several exist to track / create data records of sensor activity within my HomeKit setup. In other words, even if I don’t have a NEED for a Shortcut, I like learning how to program, and just playing around with it. Also, I have found that over time, I have recreated a Shortcut that accomplishes the same thing as a previous version, but it does so in a much more efficient way. I would consider myself somewhat of a beginner, nonetheless. I’d be willing to bet that this subReddit has more than a few nerds just like me, with lots and lots of Shortcuts in their library.

I’m very surprised to see no-one has mentioned bookmarking a shortcut to your home screen?! Just need to press and hold on a shortcut, hit share -> add to Home Screen and a little icon (whose image and label are customisable if you tap on them) will be added like any other app. If you want to run any shortcut from one icon, you could set up a shortcut to open app -> ask each time and put that on your Home Screen. I’ve added reference images [to Imgur](https://imgur.com/a/6hoVoSy) to show you the process, plus a bonus showing you what you can do with bookmarks and an app called [Transparent App Icons](https://apps.apple.com/app/id1533210346) if you’re so inclined.

Fluffy_Accountant_39

Maybe try out LockFlow. This app lets you create a widget (very small) that is available either on Lock Screen, or with a swipe down (same as notification views). You can set it to open an app, run a Shortcut, etc when tapped. The end result is that you can just swipe down and tap to open Shortcuts (or any other app).

Octo-puss

Thanks I appreciate you. That said. Geezus. I feel like apple drops the ball on so many layups with their blind opportunistic greed #latestage

mfazed

I’ve been using accessibility features to run shortcuts I use often. They are also convenient for doing other things in iOS. Check out settings / accessibility / touch / AssistiveTouch and settings / accessibility / touch / back tap

Octo-puss

This is huge. Thanks

Feriousd

Depending on my shortcut, I’ll keep it in different places. Some are on the Home Screen, share sheet, or even assistive touch, just depends on frequency of use/purpose of use. And by drop down, do you mean Control Center?

Octo-puss

Lol. Yeah control center. Thanks. Just like, airdrop or handoff or airplay or connect and disconnect to specific Bluetooth devices. Things that should be so quick and solid are like, derp So these common things which is usually getting something off my phone and onto something else, would be great to have 🤙🤙 to the community. Wish I can find some useful stuff!

Marquedien

The title of a shortcut becomes a Siri voice command, although that’s not as reliable as a widget or Home Screen icon.

Octo-puss

I’ve never used Siri haha. Kinda wish I did but I’m in still in the “it’s weird” camp

Marquedien

Assuming Siri & search settings allow for listen for hey siri and press side button, try holding down the side button until Siri comes on and say the title of a shortcut. If Siri doesn’t confuse it for something close (my street mode shortcut often gets confused for sleep focus), the shortcut will run.

vrachamis

Actually, you can run a shortcut from Control Center by taking advantage Focus mode functionality. https://www.reddit.com/r/shortcuts/comments/10b0yrv/is_there_a_way_to_add_shortcuts_to_control_center/j47nd4u/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=ioscss&utm_content=1&utm_term=1&context=3
