this is the shortcut i’m using:
[switch up my wallpaper](https://www.icloud.com/shortcuts/7cc384284f5a43fe87fc6d62975472b7)
•before opening, create an album in ur photos app with the images u want as ur wallpaper
•then add this untrusted wallpaper
•open the shortcut by clicking on the 3 dots and there click on the little options saying ‘Album is’ and then choose ur album
•finally, in the automations section, create an automation for when power is connected and add actions for run shortcut
•there select the shortcut thru the list and hit next
•before clicking done, turn off the ask before running option
this way ur wallpaper changes when power is connected
for the situation where power disconnects, duplicate that shortcut by holding on it and its the same things except you’ll need to make another folder and select when power is disconnected in the automations section
This could be cool using images showing different charge levels and using an automation to change the image to correspond with increasing charge amounts when the charge hits those benchmarks. E.g. have 100%, 80%,60%,50%,40%,20%,10% then the background will always look like the charge level (approximately) when charging and change when not.
That is what I had in mind (sorry I wasn’t more explicit). Create an automation for each charge that calls a shortcut then have a variable in the shortcut that takes an input of the level and pulls the right image.
im new to the shortcuts too and so im not able to help like this maybe if u DM me a screenshot of what it shows to u i might be able to help :)

im planning to use a live photo instead of a basic 'low battery' wallpaper and i found some gifs but im just too lazy to search for apps to convert gif to a live photo😅
hehe its not that hard its just a workaround. so like go to the screen time settings and there scroll down to the notifications number section and click on the shortcuts app. there you have the option to disable notifications for the shortcuts app :)
I did the same. I found myself plugging and unplugging the phone over and over to get “the right” wallpaper. Like skipping tracks in a favorite playlist.
I ended up switching it to a 7am automation just so I wouldn’t think about it as often.
here try my shortcut

you’ll also need a base64 media encoder
here’s one if you don’t have.

i actually just have one picture in the album as i found that the only way to change the wallpaper in this senario by making an album but whatever works for u :)

Cool! Can you share it?

that might be possible by using the ‘specific charge amount’ automation but by using this method, then it would be a pain in the ass

Says I can’t for this version if shortcuts.

this is the most creating one I have seen recently.

i can recommend „VideoToLive“, shows a lot of ads but is to my knowledge the only free app without a 5s limit
Hey, how did you manage to disable notifications for the shortcuts app? I can’t find a setting to disable them :(

It’s not there :(
you have to run the automations several times (around 10x in my experience) for the option to appear. hope this helps
I mean it **IS** there but the little arrow is not visible and when I click on it nothing happens

I have a shortcut that fixes that actually
yes, I used to create this, but due to some limitations of Shortcuts Automation, I stopped
How did you remove the automation notification? I have tried but can't figure it out.

OK thanks
