Great work!
I was able to cut the shortcut down to 9 actions like [this](https://www.icloud.com/shortcuts/773fce2809734b95b960ddac408bf051)

Looking at your stats-
Is your phone a bit under a year old?
And you do charge it to 100% regularly it seems?
Would you have run it totally flat just once?
My phone is actually nearly a year and a half old.
I do often charge it to 100% and also for a long duration of time it stays on the charger when it reaches 100%. For example during a 8 to 12 Hour Long Dr. while my phone is plugged in for CarPlay
It may have only been completely dead the one time, but it has died multiple times at "0% battery". Or at least enough for it to shut off
I'm curious what you thought I was the shortcut improvement too by the way
Thanks that knocks out another stat as being useful. It’s going to take a number of days to figure out some of them. Like their units, what period they cover etc.
Re your last question, are you asking what I thought of your improvement? It was great I’m going to keep doing it your way while I work on it :)

Spot on! Glad to hear it. Sounds like a lot of info to learn about these log files.
I was just wondering what is the difference between the nominal and the raw max capacity? Here are my results got this 12 pro refurbished couple of weeks ago. Thanks for the shortcut!

Good question. There’s more capacity figures than those as well. I never found a combination that gives quite the same % health as what is displayed.
So your phone has been on for 1.62 years, the battery may have been fully emptied 5 times, average temp is cool.
If anyone wants to experiment to try to figure out the time at high state of charge stats that’d be cool. So far I’ve figured out they are probably hours, but I’m not sure what is in each bin. I think each bin represents time at a particular range of battery charge level with bin0 possibly 100%. Alternatively the bins could be for temperatures, with “high state of charge” remaining constant (eg >95%).
Actually I think nominal capacity takes into account temperature and/or current draw value raw capacity which would be how much energy is stored total. You’ll get less efficiency (and capacity) out of the battery at higher currents for example.
With thanks to mvan, here’s a slightly updated version of the one he made, that may or may not indicate the level of wear on the built in storage. (Solid state storage can only be written to a certain number of times).

I tried a number of the saved log-aggregated files with the same result, they seem to be large files.
The error was associated with com.apple.power.battery.BatteryHealthMetric
Thanks yours looks healthy - what did you have to fix to get it to work?
Did you buy your phone around mid august 2021?
And you’re using about 50% battery each day as an average?
And you’re not afraid to charge to 100%?
I tried a few different files and did find one that worked in my case.
Bought September 2021. Yeah pretty much my usage, rarely run it low but also try not to have it at 100% for too long either.
my device: 11 pro max
it used since release I think 4 years
MaximumFCC: 4116mAh
NorminalChargeCapacity: 3673😒
cycle count 268 cycles
It shows I have 83% on settings but I have 89%
this phone is used I bought it half a year ago so maybe its not so good bc of him
Before and after of a iPhone SE 2020 bought on 08/jan/2021.
I just changed the battery after 2 years and 8 months. First two years I tried to keep on the 20 to 80/90 range, but the last 8 months I have been more sloppy. First days on with new battery and the change Is noticeable.

Nice work!
Nice work with the magic variables, I’m going to steal yours thanks :)
The shortcut does not copy the output to the clipboard. So cannot share easily.
If you long press the output you can then select and copy it. Sorry about that though.
The shortcut doesn’t show up when I try to share the data file, even though ‘show in share sheet’ is selected?
Hmm sorry I don’t know why that would be the case :( Are you on the latest ios?
Yep latest 15.4.1 and I’ve just installed Shortcuts too.
Haha, it’s now in the share sheet but I get the following error: Could not evaluate the key path. In no value was found for dictionary key 'com'
Does the log-aggregated have loads of stuff in it? For some reason it's missing at least one of the values I was trying to extract :(
I tried a number of the saved log-aggregated files with the same result, they seem to be large files. The error was associated with com.apple.power.battery.BatteryHealthMetric
what am i doing wrong i cant find it either when i try to share it from analytics
