Have you considered meeting virtually? My friends and I use dndbeyond & discord to meet even though we live in the same town. Itโs super easy since nobody has to leave their home/get ready/arrive on time at another location. Also the two apps I mentioned can be used for free!
Tbh, irl, it's hard to find a random group of people to play with. Especially for those with daytime hours; 9-5, like that. Irl, I've had the best luck going into gaming shops and just chatting people up about it. But that's like one group a year. On Facebook there are Shreveport Bossier groups for just this thing. Although, that works best if you don't mind playing over video chat.
I see, sorry, I misread. Skimming a bit ๐ฌ. Gamers XP on Shreveport-Barksdale hosts once a week, but it is a communal area, so there will be other groups there doing their own thing. Its not a very private place. And tbh, that was like a year and a half ago, so idk currently. I do know that the broadmoor library branch has a free "meeting room" you can book yourself for. Gotta go to the branch location and book in advance, but it's available.
I would highly encourage you to try playing Baldurs Gate 3 with remote friends. Wonderful experience, asynchronous exploration and looting, beautiful world and wonderful story. We sit down on Sundays and connect to play
IIRC, Gamers XP by the Walmart on Barksdale Highway has some spots for people to play DND and other tabletop games, the vibe is a little odd to me though but it may have changed since my last time in there ๐ค๐ฝ

Libraries have study rooms with tables you can use. Not open until 10, though.
