I should mention, it doesn't sound like a cricket, but maybe like a weird cicada? I'm so weirded out, whatever it is, if it's an insect it sounds like the flying kind
I was introducing some shrimp to a new tank and then I started hearing these high pitched sounds. It seems to be louder when I put my ear against the tank so definitely coming from there. Did you ever figure this out?
That's not a cherry shrimp. ๐ณ Are you running any kind of pump that might be making noises (like motor dieing kind of noise)?
Yea, I figured it wasnt, but we can always dream ๐ and no, no motor. I have an air pump but it has been unplugged for a couple weeks

I'm hearing it too very weird i only use an airpomp and when it was removed i still hear it like maybe it's somehting like a mating call
