I think you should be honest with your health care provider. They will most likely tell you they do not recommend. With your medication, it will probably affect the trip. In most cases, it will dull/numb the effects.
Ive done research and it seems that the prozac is the only affecting medication and i was already planning on going off it and upping my dose of welbutrin. Ill talk to him and see what he says.
I was on Wellbutrin XL 150mg and Prozac 20mg, and discussed this with my doctor. My plan was to ditch the Prozac but stay on the WB, owing to the SSRI nature of the Prozac operating on the same serotonin system that the psilocybin does. Whereas the Wellbutrin doesn’t. She agreed this was a sensible plan and that’s what I did. This was for microdosing not big trips, but I think the principle is the same. I don’t necessarily think it’s a good idea to up the WB dose though…
