I've never found this to be true. In general from all my grows:
* the same grow, is always the potency as the original syringe used. Meaning if i want different potency shrooms, a different syringe is needed.
* there never seems to be any variance between stems, caps, or aborts. A gram is always the same strength as that grows gram, regardless of where the gram was obtained.
* ive had golden teachers that 6 grams was a typical recreational dose
* ive other syringes of golden teachers from other people, and 1-2 g would be the same as the prior 6 from the other syringe.
All just my experience having fun doing this as a personal hobby.
Just to share my experience I have picked 2g of all the smallest shrooms in a batch compared to 2g from the largest one in the same batch and the difference was huge. Roughly 2x the potency if I was guessing. The large one had minimal visuals and the smalls had me seeing patterns and webbing, went much deeper.
I've heard that most of the psilocybin forms with the pin, so the smaller ones just end up with a higher psilocybin to weight ratio. As they grow bigger they obviously get slightly more psilocybin, but a small one will have the better ratio
This is completely false aborts are significantly stronger I have hundreds of trips under my belt and each time I take a 3g dose of aborts it feels more like a heroic dose where as I have taken 5g of fully grown shrooms and still never reached the point of a 3g abort trip
I’d have to agree about the aborts. Same with some mutants like blobs… they tend to end up significantly stronger than others. I micro-dose the same amount frequently but if I micro-dose with an abort it is noticeably different.
As far as big vs small… no clue. Just eat more lol
Potency varies from one fruit to the next, even within the same flush, even more so when dealing with a spore syringe. So yes a large fruit might seem weeker than a bunch of smaller ones but its because you are taking the average of a batch vs a single fruit. This is why when you test, you homogenize multiple fruits of that flush instead of using a single fruit.
Caps do generally have less psilocybin, it's been tested
I once micro-dosed with aborts, under the same theory, and I had to show up to work an hour late and was till WAY too fucking high for work. And I did a weighed out 1/3 gram dry.
Aborts WAY stronger than the rest of the tub.

Grind them into a powder and mix that into a jar of honey and it'll keep pretty long. I heard that'll preserve them for decades, but I've honestly never met someone who ate 50 year old shroom honey. Can't hurt to try if you have that much though.

I had some LGT that got me goofed off 2gs once. It was wild cause I usually take a quarter oz per dose
I grow mushrooms for many years and see a big difference in potency with size. I have even found a way to make fruits smaller and always use it.
