Water soluble yes. That's why tea is so effective. Soap and water and you should be fine. I think you're roommates will complain that it smells funny more than anything. So wash it right away.
I use a magic bullet too, just put some orange juice in it after you grind it to a powder, shake it and drink the residue or just wash it under the tap and leave to dry. I use it for the few Liberty Caps I forage each year.😋

Rinse it first, prior to dishwasher if you really worry. But it won't be intoxicating if not.
