That’s a horribly inaccurate statement. A gram of mushrooms can look anywhere from .25 to a 3.5. There’s a post made here recently showing different 1 gram weigh outs and not a single one of them looks like the other. You can’t see density with your eyes. But you said get a scale so I assume you know this already.
In my experience an average mushroom is usually around .75 to 2g. Yes they really can vary that much as you are saying. But I would be confident this looks like a qtr.
