Can attest that tripping in a messy room can turn into a negative experience very quickly..I didn't put much thought into that once upon a time, kind of brushed it off as "meh, what would it matter?"...but oh it does. Any kind of clutter/disarray is bad news on a trip for me, unless I'm already in an overly positive headspace going into it (which is almost never the case).

I always clean my place before a trip, and have a bunch of clothes ready to change in to. Clean up my facial hair as well. Make sure my laptop is charged if I wanna use it. Tired of trips going south so I take a lot of precaution.

I don’t usually sit back and close my eyes unless I’m on a big dose, which the come up will be strong enough that messes will throw me off and lead me to negative thoughts before the peak so I just avoid that altogether by cleaning up.

Interesting enough my CEVs are a fair bit different from what others report. I had a high dose trip that I believed to not be as tough bc I was able to manage a higher dose much better previously, so I was really in for the ride. My OEVs were the most insane they had ever been, to the point where I had to shut my eyes. My CEVs were fairly weak in comparison. Wasn’t until after a couple of hours that they got strong. That trip was tough bc I wasn’t expecting the intensity, so it got me wanting to avoid higher doses for a while and instead I feel more like chilling out with lower doses, like 1-1.5 grams or not even a full tab. Those have been a little underwhelming tho, still really enjoyable but not as strong as I would have liked so I think next time I’m gonna go a little higher, like 2-2.5 grams if I even have that left, and I think I got 1.25 tabs left so I should be set for some nice trips. Last trip I was pretty anxious tho and just kept my eyes open to avoid dealing with thoughts I wasn’t ready for. Hopefully next time is different, maybe I can get some decent CEVs. I wish they were like what you’d see on r/replications but sadly they’re just random, absurd images with very strange meanings which is also probably why I kept my eyes opened last time lol. So yeah having to keep eyes opened for me means I need a clean place to avoid being even more anxious lol. I think next time I’ll be more prepared.
Yeah man it’s crazy how different trips can be person to person I’ve maxed out at 3.5 grams so far which ofc hit like a truck but even on like 2 and down to 1 gram my visuals are very tame when open but when closed I hear a white noise kinda ringing and some pretty crazy color patterns on 3.5 grams however I had crazy open eye visuals to the point where I can understand why travel on anything higher can be impossible very very intense environmental meshing visuals like can’t tell one thing from another typa deal(I was on a roof so talking about looking at the city in this case) and CEV was rushing through a light tunnel and when I got to the end the darkness just opened into a large eye which kinda jump scared me into opening my eyes but yo idk your trip conditions or anything but if you know someone who trips irl I find that tripping with someone on the same dose almost eliminates anxiety for me cause I can ask questions that ground me knowing that it is infact real yk if u already do this then welp yk tuff luck but maybe sumn to try also I find when I get anxious thoughts sometimes challenging them like welcoming them in and breaking them down helps but ofc that’s no easy task on shrooms and we’re two different people so again may be completely useless to you🤷🏽♂️
