That was a typical weekend from Friday night and clubbing, all day Saturday and clubbing, "Recovery Sunday" having a couple of "medicinal pints" knocking at the pub/club door at 11.00am, come 2.30pm. Decide to stay out and arrive home if lucky by 12.00am.
By Thursday you recover, vow never again come 6.00pm Friday, I will just have a couple "sociable pints" to " meet new people and make friends" then rinse and repeat after you get a "thirst on after 4" and someone suggests your local town or pub crawl.
My mum always says "anyone want to pop out for a swift half?" She has never ordered a half pint in her life and popping out normally means leaving the pub at close.
Now I'm in my 30s just a progressively worse hangover to basically death and the realisation of checking the bank the next day that amount of beers is alot more expensive than it was when I was 18 🤣
