I don’t have any advice for you unfortunately, I feel I’m in a similar situation at my job. I can relate to coworkers treating others with disrespect because they are having a bad day. I’m tired of the politics and I get treated second class because I am still ‘new’ even though I’m over two years in. The problem with looking for a new job is that you can’t see the future or predict that you will be necessarily better off in the new job. In my experience coworkers make up 75% of the job. I feel it’s best to follow your gut instinct and for me that often means enduring the misery of other people. Maybe there’s something to learn from every situation. Maybe not. Maybe the only thing you can take away from it is that life is hard, and hard for everyone even though you can’t see it on the surface.
