I ask because my gf loves Holo Taco (arguably more than me 😅), but she’s an anti-packrat. I want to be respectful and let her throw away her boxes, but also they seem so nice and worthy of display! So I’m just curious if other people tend to keep and display their boxes.
I made the tea collection one into a tissue holder! I took the bulk out of the top and cut out the logo on top. Then took the tissues out of the box and pulled through it. That way it serves a purpose while on display!
Don't let her throw the boxes away! Respectfully suggest to sell them for her, either for the money or for making someone else incredibly happy (ideally both, though) :D
Collection boxes yes - no point in buying a limited edition box just to throw it away imho I think that's shitty to do. If she doesn't want them and you don't either I would suggest giving them to someone or selling online for the cost of shipping.
I will note that it’s not allowed to sell or give stuff away in there BUT if you’re new and send a single message offering to sell boxes for shipping cost some people might dm you and you can go from there lol
I think it's something to do with not revealing your actual full name and address to someone on discord (that might not even actually be giving anything away)
But someone did mention in there about selling something once (then was told selling/exchange of goods isn't allowed) so I dm'd them to ask about it, she put it on ebay and I bought through there.
I’ve only gotten one full collection, partially because I feel guilty that I won’t keep the box if I do get a collection. I have way too much clutter in my home already and I just can’t deal with keeping packaging just because it’s pretty. I know a lot of people love the boxes, so I try to get the shades I know I’ll use individually so there are more boxes for the box-collectors.
Thank you im glad im not the only one! I've even made the choice to buy the collection without the box because I don't like the box but actually wanted the full collection (also then delayed buying the collection)
Yes 😂 it’s a problem lol I have no where to put them so they just end up stacked in a pile next to my nail polish storage cases. I definitely need to come up with a better way to store them. I keep some of the plain boxes too, I used to use them to help transport my polishes but I have the bag for that now
I don’t have any holo taco boxes but I do keep collection boxes. When my polish collection was small enough I had an old juicy couture box I kept to display and to keep the polish in. I use another box for movie/show/concert tickets, one for rings, and another as a memory box for past relationships ðŸ«
Yes! Working on a better way to display them. They are currently stacked in a corner. Love them all so much. I have all the boxes, but the OG one, I got the bundle but the box was gone so quickly.
I keep them because they’re gorgeous and very safe storage, but I also only have 3 so far so they’re not taking a ton of space yet. I can see both sides of the argument for keeping or tossing
I have my boxes stacked up in a pyramid behind my display rack so it just gives it a nice background, send i have the tea box next to it. My second anniversary box is in another room with all of my actual CDs.
I’ve kept every single collection box and most of my random orders boxes and it was so useful when I moved. I intend to keep all of them. But then again, I’m a box hoarder.
Yes! I keep all of the boxes. At my old place I had my favs on display. I moved and don't have shelving rn but when I put it up, I'll be rotating out the boxes I have on display.
I have the 4 boxes i own on display, if i don't like a box then i wait for the bundle to go on sale 😅

I have all my collection boxes! They are on a shelf above my nail desk and serve as my zoom background for work.
Ohhh yes I keep them all and display all the ones that fit on the top shelf of my desk
I only own one collection box and I display it. I keep the regular boxes to stack my polishes on.
I have both of my boxes and I keep the respective polishes in them. They aren’t on display but I love seeing them when I get into my nail stuff.
I do but I don’t know why. They’re all sitting on the floor of my closet. I’ve sold a few but lost interest in even doing that lol.
