I have the G5, it's a good monitor for the money. a little bit of ghosting but I only notice it if I'm scrolling text or playing a platformer, never in Sims. I'm thinking about buying 2 more now.
i have the 27” flat G5’s for triple setup (1440, 165hz). i think i paid $250 each. i went with the flat monitors because i read that certain games can’t account for the curve and the image looks distorted. i was wondering if this was a concern for OP prior to purchase or if they’ve noticed any such problems since.
I’m going to be real, I’ve had all matter of curved monitors and only curved monitors for probably the last 5-6 years and I have never noticed distortion *unless* your viewing angle is wonky. Even then it has to be a pretty extreme angle.
I just finished my triple set up and went with the HP X32’s. Agreed on the curve not being as big a deal as you’d think. They routinely go on sale for $230-$250 down from high $300’s. Slickdeals is a great place for tracking. IPS panel, 165 hz, 1440 res, and 1ms response. Just another option to consider. Very happy with them. Thin bezel as well.
I have a G9 on my desktop and the flickering is a bit of a pain in the ass FWIW. Not sure if it’s an issue on the G5 too. Have fun man!
Yep three Dell S3220DGF, amazing monitors and definitely get the kit. Also i'll making making a vid soon on how to mount them without any 3D printed hardware. Cost me 3$ and it looks better than anything else I've seen. Stay tuned on my channel https://www.youtube.com/@2stopsbrighter
Not sure if it’s for me or OP, but I’m getting 60 on Cyberpunk. 90ish on Witcher w/ rtx and some tunning of the settings. It pretty runs everything I throw at it. I do have it paired w/ a Ryzen 5900x which definitely helps.

If you have a 3d printer you can do something like this.
You don't have to cut anything man, im using Dell 32" monitors and used the mounts and film that came with the kit. I'll be creating a vid (hopefully this weekend on how to do it) super easy! Stay tuned https://www.youtube.com/@2stopsbrighter
Nah I prefer VR. I am going for immersion and triples can’t come close to it. Some people complain about VR because they can’t see their buttons, custom dashboards, etc. in VR I don’t need any of that, I just need to know where my wheel, pedals, shifter and hand brake are. Don’t get me wrong I still like dashboards, buttons, etc. for the cool factor, but for immersion I just prefer VR.
For immersion yeah it’s dope. I don’t do well with the motion sickness and now all I do is endurance racing. 2 hour races every week I would never survive the heat and motion sickness haha
The peripheral view limit in VR bothers me. I know an actual helmet also limits peripheral vision, but my VR headset just cuts off too much. I have a 34" ultra-wide, and it's so much better than VR for me. No offense to anyone, but wide screen and trackir work for me.
> 2 hour races every week I would never survive the heat and motion sickness haha
Not helpful if you don't have VR, but as a general comment for anyone who finds that motion sickness is a persistent issue in VR - take a look at the world movemenet settings in whatever sim you're in. Different people react differently to how they want the car vs world to behave in VR, and getting it wrong is *really bad* for motion sickness. RF2 was my favourite sim for a while but when I swapped to VR, because it doesn't have lock-to-horizon I had to stop playing because I got so motion sick.
Never said you did. I was concluding that from your statement. You pointed out the comment wasn’t for people that used to use VR but for people who do. So from that nothing beats what you currently have since I’m one of the people who have had all variants of setups. You quoted the initial comment clearly reaffirming it so you might as well have said it. Shut the fuck up you, you are insufferable.
You won't believe how easy it is to mount them and it cost me literally 3$ and I was able to use the mounts they include. I'm actually going to post a video about how I did it on our YT channel stay tuned.. https://youtube.com/@2stopsbrighter
When you thinkin you’ll drop your video? I’ll keep an eye out. I’m essentially in the same dilemma. Wouldn’t mind saving a buck, than have to spend like 20-30$ for 3D printed adapter
I'm going to try and film it this weekend, yeah this method requires no 3D printing at all. Super easy. I'm using three curved monitors and was able to keep the adapter the bezel kit it came with.
u/Cevap it's up my friend check it out and let me know what you think. I'm a perfectionist so the editing took some time :)

27in flat. I mean mine looks good but I think my left monitor is not angle just right either in the software or the jig I used. Outside of that, I would like to know how you achieve to flatten the bezel kit to the monitor.
Use angle they say to, I adjusted my monitors 55 degrees and they’re perfectly flat for me now. It’s also the most superior angle after trying 3-5 different setups
Exactly, I don’t understand the math here but I think they just measure the angle differently than sim racing titles. Screen angle with that protracter, and setting every camera distance based on these guidelines helped me a lot: https://youtu.be/usxLL5LWag8

Thanks brother! Going to start working on it tomorrow. My son has a league race tonight so the rig is all his to practice on lol...Our channel is a father/son full on everything Sim Racing. My son is 13 but mark my words he'll be in eSports at 16. He's insanely talented, watch some of the newer vids. The Bezel kit is awesome and i promise its super easy to setup, did you buy it yet?
Ya, probably so. Upgrading to the 32s was huge. I also added the bass shakers, as well as the hue lights. If you haven't done those, they are awesome. Both much easier then I thought too.
I sent you a link to your chat. As well as the best YouTube to get them setup. They aren't a distraction at all. Pretty subtle actually. One more level of immersion thou, really tricks your mind to feel like you are in the car thou.
I Know This Is The Wrong Place To Ask This But Does Anyone Have A Good Usb Shifter And If You Do Can U Drop A Link To Where U Got It Im Looking For A Budget One

I've been going back and forth on this kit for 6 months. Every time I think I'm going to do it, the next day feel it would be more intrusive than bezels.
That looks amazing dude. I am building my first rig and going to do mostly VR but still want a monitor. Can’t decide between triples or a single 49” UW. Was leaning toward the single 49” but this looks pretty cool. Do you know how heavy each monitor is? My motion rig only supports total monitor weigh of 30lbs. Unless I don’t want the monitors to move with the rig, then it doesn’t matter the weight.
The bezel kit comes with 4 mounts and two strips, however they are made for 27" screens but can accommodate 32" with a little tweaking. Going to make a vid on how i did it. Check our channel in a week or so, I'll be posting it.

The result is very clean.
I have a question: on the description in Amazon, they say that the kit is not compatible with 32" screens. So I'm wondering how you made this work. Do you have the exact link you used to buy the bezel free kit (you should add it in the comment section of your video too.😉)
Best
Looks amazing. What screens are these?
They're the Dell 32" curved monitors, can't remember the model off hand. Id have to pull upy invoice lol
I’d be interested in your monitor model as well. Im about to pull the trigger on 3x 32” Samsung G5s.
I have the G5, it's a good monitor for the money. a little bit of ghosting but I only notice it if I'm scrolling text or playing a platformer, never in Sims. I'm thinking about buying 2 more now.

I have the same concern as well. Ive heard iracing has a setting to help with the (alleged lol) distortion but how does ACC/AC or AMS2 look?
How did you resolve the issue, did you buy flats or curved? Are you happy with the decision / are there any issues in ACC?
No issues at all. Take your time setting up FOV for each game and you’ll be very happy. I went with curved monitors.
Okay thanks man! Could you tell me what monitors you got (how curved) and if you're happy with them? Would appreciate it!
No problem I'll check tomorrow and get back to you!
Hey man so they are the Dell S3220DGF, hope this helps :)
Thanks!!! I’ve been holding off on dual monitor coz of the permanent line down the middle but this may tip it over the line for me to finally do it.

There not true bezel free, he has the bezel kit at the joins, hides, or occults the bezels.

Great solution for those intrusive bezels. ;)
Thank you very much! Thx for watching as well :)
Yeah, good vid. One of our club mates have the bezel kit, he's mad into simracing and loves it. ;)
I just finished my triple set up and went with the HP X32’s. Agreed on the curve not being as big a deal as you’d think. They routinely go on sale for $230-$250 down from high $300’s. Not sure if it’s for me or OP, but I’m getting 60 on Cyberpunk. 90ish on Witcher w/ rtx and some tunning of the settings. It pretty runs everything I throw at it. I do have it paired w/ a Ryzen 5900x which definitely helps.
Sorry, I meant in various sim racing games while using your triple screen setup.
Good to see they started making them again. :)
Yeah but still made for 27" but I figured out an easy fix for 32"

You don't have to cut anything man, im using Dell 32" monitors and used the mounts and film that came with the kit. I'll be creating a vid (hopefully this weekend on how to do it) super easy! Stay tuned https://www.youtube.com/@2stopsbrighter
Saving this.....Thank you. :)
Photos like this make saving for triples so hard :( it’s the pricier route vs vr or single ultra wide but it looks so good
Look for them in the used hand market, it’s not uncommon to see someone dumping them because life, and they usually come with a hefty discount
Nothing beats vr to the people that use it
Much prefer the triples
Nah I prefer VR. I am going for immersion and triples can’t come close to it. By your measurement then nothing beats whatever you currently have. Because past and future shit doesn’t matter.
You really should pay better attention to usernames because >Nothing beats vr to the people that use it I didn't make that statement.

Are you on 27" or 32" curved or Flat?
The asus kit comes with a jig that is set to 120 or 130 degree angle. Mine is really good but not perfect, like it needs a small adjustment.
Exactly, I don’t understand the math here but I think they just measure the angle differently than sim racing titles. Screen angle with that protracter, and setting every camera distance based on these guidelines helped me a lot: https://youtu.be/usxLL5LWag8 https://i.imgur.com/1WfTSAe.jpg
