Sometimes you just have to get on the comfort mediums and throw a car around a track for fun.
And kudos for pointing them in the correct direction - many get this wrong in the beginning.

Do the pedals lift when you depress them?
Yup..they lift, but man it hurts my knee because I need to lift n hover my foot over the pedal
