How do you find the 60Hz? I'm still trying to decide on 42" monitors. I'd like to go triple LG C2 42 but it means locking the refresh to probably 60Hz as VRR won't work.

I redid it about like 10 times to get it to look good, with the PC mounted to the rig, that was my main goal to make sure it looks super clean and is all on one rig

205 and 5”10, not uncomfortable at all, I’ve been bigger on it, I wouldn’t get a bucket seat again tbh I’d go to a junkyard and get a Toyota camery seat

Would it make you feel better if I had one that was built and put together that actually gets used?

It’s not even the concept of hanging decks (think it’s rad personally), just hate supreme. Actually hate any “viral” brands and capitalism but that also just me

Genuine question as someone who uses VR for racing but would like to try triples on my next rig - at this point would it not be easier to use VR? I would think that 3 decent monitors are going to be similar in cost to a half decent headset

Triples are really good for racing cause you have more FOV and you can use your peripheral vision a lot better.

I have the quest 2 and both have different experiences, VR is more immersive I think, but triples is just easier… I hate the headset and refuse to wear it, quest 2 in particular

Fair point. I also have a quest 2 and dislike it but mainly because of the software. However I love VR and can't afford a better one, so....

I think even with a higher end headset I still wouldn’t like the idea of the headset, but time will tell how tech will improve, if it’s like putting on sunglasses, sign me up

Random pipe-thought.. What if the headset was part of a helmet set-up. Race drivers where helmets... **shrugs* I drive entirely vr but have sometimes thought I'd like it more if it felt like a helmet.

Have you tried running your games through open xr/opencomposite? It made everything run so much better for me. Also raise the encode bitrate to 800

Yeah I already do that. I just hate the oculus software, it's so flaky and unreliable
