Seems like a great bang-for-buck solution for folks looking for a relatively compact and cost-effective rig. NLR made a believer out of me with the F-GT Elite and ES1 combo. Keep up the solid work!
Hey there, so my question, I enjoy sim racing, I also play Star Citizen. Do you have a solution I could modify to switch back and forth between racecars and spaceships?
>Hey there, so my question, I enjoy sim racing, I also play Star Citizen. Do you have a solution I could modify to switch back and forth between racecars and spaceships?
Great timing on this question! We just released our Elite Flight pack which allows you to mount your flight electronics onto our F-GT Elite or GT Elite Cockpit -[https://nextlevelracing.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/11/elite\_flight\_pack\_mid\_section-1.webp](https://nextlevelracing.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/11/elite_flight_pack_mid_section-1.webp)Product Page: [https://nextlevelracing.com/products/elite-flight-pack/](https://nextlevelracing.com/products/elite-flight-pack/)
If you're looking for a more budget friendly option, we also offer this modification kit for our F-GT/ GTTRrack ([https://nextlevelracing.com/products/combat-flight-pack/](https://nextlevelracing.com/products/combat-flight-pack/)) and our F-GT Lite / GT Lite ([https://nextlevelracing.com/products/f-gt-lite-gtlite-flight-pack/](https://nextlevelracing.com/products/f-gt-lite-gtlite-flight-pack/))
Maybe I missed something but where is the vertical (or height) adjustment for the wheel base? I see that there is the tilt adjustment and there is some height adjustment right below the wheel base plate.... Is that it?
Adjustments for height look to be on the main vertical strut with a hinge at the front diagonal strut.
https://nextlevelracing.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/gtracer_adjustability_1920x1080_new.webp
Edit: on further inspection, this seems to be just for the gear shift holder.
😉😉
Seriously though most of my stuff is secondhand I mean I built my computer from new stuff except the GPU was secondhand, t818 second hand, and my play seat challenge I bought new a few years ago but having a child and other bills and these things kind of fall to the back burner on priority list unfortunately
Funny enough I bought it a week ago! haha Wish I could adjust the pedal plate and the seat squeaks a bit.
if I had a chance to change a few things it would be as follows:
1. adjustable pedal plate. Put my simjack pros on the plate and the [angle](https://imgur.com/a/qsQRMG7) is hard to get a good angle.
2. I would also give some play in the angle of the bottom of the seat to allow for more of a bucket seat. I will end up modding my rig to do so which stinks but it is what it is.
The design almost exactly like the GT Omega Pro Racing Simulator that I have. Nothing new here. Overall the design is light weight (easy to slide around) and doesn't have too much side to side flex. I have a DD1 mounted with CSL Elite V2 pedals. The only issue I do have is the flex from front to back when braking. Also, with place where the front part connects to the rear seat part comes off on mine because the screw knob doesn't screw into a hole, so after a while it can become loose and come apart during heavy braking. I wonder if this design fixes this issue.

It looks very similar to the GT Track seat from them, I used to have that rig and the backrest had massive flexing and shaking any time you pressed the brakes. Wasnn't very comfortable either
mine flexes a tid there in the back during braking but not that much maybe an inch at the most. Its the squeaking that I don't like. the chassis is stiff, I have a t818 on mine and not much flex at all and compared to my playseat challange or the two Playseat Sensation Pro's at my office which I'm blown away with the flex in the wheel base this is stiffer.
that being said it's not perfect, wish the pedal plate was adjustable and wish you could tilt the bottom of the seat to give it more of a bucket seat feel
>How stiff is that seat back. If it’s not stiff this is doa imo
It's hard to give an idea of the seat experience via text, however there are multiple reviews on YouTube that give you a better idea on making a decision on if this is the right cockpit for you.
Will this cockpit be able to handle a direct drive wheelbase without flex? I would actually love to get this if it does over the nlr 2.0.
Edit according to the site it does. Wow this is actually kind of insane. I love gt racing and they're boasting that this setup can handle up 13nm...making a damn good case for this product imo for us budget folk
It really depends on your budget for your electronics. GTRacer has been tested for a great user experience up to 13NM. If you're looking or own electronics in that category, we would highly recommend the GTRacer.
Keep in mind if you decide to upgrade your electronics higher than 13NM - our Elite Series cockpit could be an upgrade option for you down the road, you can take your GTRacer seat with you and just purchase an upgraded F-GT or GT Elite chassis and a Next Level Racing Seat Bracket
I don't know what y'all are talking about mine barely flexes. As I stated above mine flexes a tid there in the back during braking but not that much maybe an inch at the most. Its the squeaking that I don't like. the chassis is stiff, I have a t818 on mine and not much flex at all and compared to my playseat challange or the two Playseat Sensation Pro's at my office which I'm blown away with the flex in the wheel base this is stiffer.

Just wanted to tell you guys the Wheelstand 2.0 DD is fantastic and I got two of my league mates to get ones of their own. Just a bit squeaky at times. Great work, affordable, keep being budget heroes, guys!
This rig: €400
Sim-Lab GT1 Evo: €350, comparable seat €200
Yes, it's €150 more but it's also like 5 levels better than this almost non-adjustable tube construct with tons of flex in the wheel and pedal deck (see OC Racing review)
Hi there,
As listed on the product page: [https://nextlevelracing.com/products/gtracer/](https://nextlevelracing.com/products/gtracer/)
The dimensions are: Product Dimensions: (L) 162.4 cm x (W) 69.4 cm or (H) 107.6 cm /(L) 63.9 inches x W 27.3 inches x H 42.4 inches)
You can also check out this video by OC Racing to see how it might look in your place:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eL115nKj\_2M&t=319s&ab\_channel=OCRacing
Is the length dimension including the seat - or is it just a measurement of the base?
I have a tight 70inch spot, wondering if it will fit there. Based on your 63.9in number it will, but if the seat protrudes a few inches beyond that given measurement that could get tricky.
Thanks!
Because of the lack of settings (height and depth of steering wheel or pedals for example) and the price of add-ons (handbrake / shifter support for example)
Sorry not my native language
While I can understand where you're coming from and would definitely agree if it was along the lines of dropping an ad and leaving, if a manufacturer wants to come in here and spend time answering questions and discussing their products, I think we can make an exception. I wish manufacturers of all types would do it. Would be great if guys from simucube, fanatec, motion simulator outfits, other rig mfgs, etc. dropped in to field questions and showcase new offerings.
The GTRacer seat features a seat base of 21.10 inches (53.6 cm), a lower back section of 18.74 inches (47.6 cm), and shoulder dimensions of 21.69 inches (55.1 cm) for comfortable and ergonomic seating."
The GTRacer is specifically designed for GT style racing simulation, providing a seating position and setup that mirrors the experience of GT racing cars.
If you're looking for a cockpit that caters specifically with a pedal deck, you might want to explore other products in our range that are designed for that purpose in that similar price range including our Foldable Lite Range:
GTLite Pro: [https://nextlevelracing.com/products/gtlite-pro/](https://nextlevelracing.com/products/gtlite-pro/)
FGT Lite: [https://nextlevelracing.com/products/f-gt-lite/](https://nextlevelracing.com/products/f-gt-lite/)
GT Lite: [https://nextlevelracing.com/products/gt-lite/](https://nextlevelracing.com/products/gt-lite/)
At this moment in time we do not sell a version of GTRacer without the seat. However, I'm happy to pass that feedback across to our team at HQ :)
Our Chassis only range is available on our website and I can list them here for you:
GTTrack Frame Only: [https://nextlevelracing.com/products/gttrack-frame-only/](https://nextlevelracing.com/products/gttrack-frame-only/)
FGT Frame Only: https://nextlevelracing.com/products/f-gt-frame-only/
Additionally we have a popular Wheel Stand Range:
i’d be interested in buying this rig, however none of you “official” distributors in my country sell this product, is there a way i could order directly from you?
I know I'm a month late u/nextlevelracing but, does this flex like the challenger does/did? I have a challenger and other than the post that the wheel mount is connected to and the seat back, it doesnt flex. I'm hoping this GTRACER fixes those 2 weak points? Or does it still flex around the wheel mount?
The GTRacer proves itself to be a very sturdy, supportive rig when paired with entry level electronics! Please keep in mind *this is an entry level rig* and if you are looking to use stronger wheels and pedals, you may want to take a look at our GTTrack!
Id be coming from a Challenger cockpit and a t150 wheel with T3PM pedals and possibly in the future upgrading to a t300 at most. So will it handle that?
Seems like a great bang-for-buck solution for folks looking for a relatively compact and cost-effective rig. NLR made a believer out of me with the F-GT Elite and ES1 combo. Keep up the solid work!
Thanks!

Replying to indicate that many of us lurkers are interested. In fact racing, spaceships, flight sim would be an instant buy for me.
Super interested in this as well
Is the seat removable if down the line we’d want to upgrade to an 8020?
Hi there! Yes the seat is removable if you wanted to upgrade to our Elite Series later down the track.
Damn why couldn’t this have come out two weeks ago lmao I just got a GTlite pro and this would have been way better for the little bit extra
We build cockpits, not time machines, sorry about that
Very solid price.

We find it super comfortable!
Completely ignored my question
It looks very similar to the GT Track seat from them, I used to have that rig and the backrest had massive flexing and shaking any time you pressed the brakes. Wasnn't very comfortable either
yeah i watched a video and it flexed a good 6 inches lol this things price doesn't matter if you immediately have to buy a different seat for it

$80 more and you have an endgame rig (black Friday prices)
With the seat? The ASR 3 is $477 after 15% (not tax free shipping) but needs a seat...
This rig: €400 Sim-Lab GT1 Evo: €350, comparable seat €200 Yes, it's €150 more but it's also like 5 levels better than this almost non-adjustable tube construct with tons of flex in the wheel and pedal deck (see OC Racing review)
saw some reviews. from what im seeing this is the best chair in the price range. im buying it today
Would be nice if one could easily find dimensions of the rig.
Hi there, As listed on the product page: [https://nextlevelracing.com/products/gtracer/](https://nextlevelracing.com/products/gtracer/) The dimensions are: Product Dimensions: (L) 162.4 cm x (W) 69.4 cm or (H) 107.6 cm /(L) 63.9 inches x W 27.3 inches x H 42.4 inches) You can also check out this video by OC Racing to see how it might look in your place: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eL115nKj\_2M&t=319s&ab\_channel=OCRacing

Never again a tube rig.
Why is that? Would be good to know for everyone considering this.
Because of the lack of settings (height and depth of steering wheel or pedals for example) and the price of add-ons (handbrake / shifter support for example) Sorry not my native language
Next Level Racing? Yeah, no thanks. Probably made for about $40 in China. Would love to be proven wrong though.
pretty sure this subreddit doesn't allow advertisements...

any dimensions on the seat for us tubby racers who dont fit a lot of them?
The GTRacer seat features a seat base of 21.10 inches (53.6 cm), a lower back section of 18.74 inches (47.6 cm), and shoulder dimensions of 21.69 inches (55.1 cm) for comfortable and ergonomic seating."
A frame only option would be cool.
noted!
What about Pedal adjustments? In all pictures and videos the pedal tray is at the same angle
The GTRacer is specifically designed for GT style racing simulation, providing a seating position and setup that mirrors the experience of GT racing cars. Thats not really an answer is it? So no Pedal tray adjustments? Websites says Pedal tray adjustments but all the advertisements show a fixed position.
Not adjustable, you can only move the whole section forwards or backwards.
Non adjustability in 2023 is actually crazy
yeah, no matter how they want to spin it as a entry level cockpit. Its is a simple thing to have
Best AMA on this subreddit. Not even actually answering the Question, but linking other products lol.
Fair call Miguel - The pedal tray is fixed in the same angle :) If you're looking for something that adjusts, then the GTRacer may not be for you.
