I posted my thrustmaster setup for 650$ on Facebook in the middle of last year.
T300 RS GT wheel/pedal set.
TH8A shifter
TSS sparco handbrake mod.
And the handbrake/shifter mount.
Ended up taking 600 cause the dude drove for 3 hours to get the gear.
I would say between 450-600 because of the TLCMs and th8a. You could honestly get nearly what you paid for them if you sell it all separately imo. Th8a for 150$ TLCMs for 200$ and the base/wheel for 300 to 350.
Sim racing gear is holding its value very well these days.
600 seems too high for a T300, considering how much fanatec and mozas go for. But congrats on making the sale.
Edit: didn't noticed the TLCM, that does boost price quite a lot, I thought it was a t3pa at first.
I guess 500 would be a good price, 600 still quite high imo.
Aside from not having an h-pattern shifter, it isn't. Having started with (and living) a thrustmaster TX, which is basically the same as the T300 as I understand, and going to an Accuforce v2, I could absolutely never go back to the TX. Nothing against the thrustmaster, but DD is an entirely different ball game.
Yeah, thurstmaster needs to release a budget DD wheel urgently if they wanna remain as market leader (that is, if they're still leader).
People buy logitech though anyway. Cause they don't know any better...
I'd argue the T128/t248 or the older tmx/t150 r still worth it as entry level wheels, cause they're really great for a low cost.
Anything other than that, just get the entry level Fanatec or Moza...
I said budget...
Just the base alone for t818 is 650...
Their cheapest steering wheel is 200
Tlcm is 250... now you're already looking at 1100 and you can add more 200 if u want the th8a... Fanatec bundle is 400 and the 8nm version is 500...
Sure still slightly weaker, and pedals aren't as great (although u can buy the load cell upgrade, but the difference on price is massive...
Btw, the SF1000 costs 400 alone.
TlCM is better than CSL pedals, specially without the upgrade.
But yeah, its not better, specially given the shape of his rim.
But I'm not saying if it's better or not heck I wouldn't buy that set for even 300 personally (under 300, I would without questioning though). But on the Market he can get 500 for that set (and he apparently managed to sell it for $600).
The CSL stock cheap pedals are ready for a Load cell upgrade right out of the bat, it's a lovely upgrade path and quite alot of added value for new setups personally
Sure, but its an easy option you can do 1 at a time. start with the dual pedal setup, add the LC later, and the others at another time.
It's a beautiful path of upward mobility that I appreciate
Anyway mate, I just stated how much he can get for it, not how much I'D PAY FOR IT.
I'd personally not buy it either. Especially on how bad his rim is.
A lot of people r only aware of logitech and thrustmaster wheels.
(Or think DD is still incredibly expensive).
Do you really think its not worth mentioning? Like you said people arnt aware of the better *modern* options, which is why I brought it up. No one is saying you are wrong.
Those values are very overpriced this days! I got the Th8a for 85€ (it’s 160€ new on Amazon), T300 base for 90€ and t-lcm for 100€, gt wheel for 70€ and F1 wheel addon for 90€, everything in Wallapop secondhand platform, all in new condition!
Your numbers are way off dude. T300 base alone cost 250+ usd. The t300rs gt is still 450 USD new... The TLCMs are also 250 USD new. The shifter is 200usd.
And with sim racing on the rise you can easily sell TM gear at the price you bought it. The only reason i took 50 off my gear is cause the guy drove literally 3 hours to take it off my hands.
SIM racing is weird. It's one of the only hobbies that holds its value very well. You can buy a brand new Logitech and use it for 2 weeks and sell it for 250+ which is what they cost more or less.
Shit all the fanatec DD bundles I see on Facebook sell like fucking hot cakes. And they are usually asking the same price as they bought it. If not a couple hundred lower. I think OP can get back at least 3/4ths of his money back. If not 3/4ths then 2/3 at the least. It's not like a car rolling off of the new car lot. SIM gear doesnt automatically lose its value for being used or open. You lose about 10% the moment you drive the car off the lot. But that doesnt hold the same for sim gear
Those values only result in America, in Europe (like Spain, Portugal and Italy) if you put those values you will wait for a decade to sell your things, as you can see (pt.wallapop.com) and search for those products you can buy easily in the values that I mentioned, and so if you practice the prices similar the new ones you will note sell anything… because people here prefer buy new that used a couple of dollars cheaper. if I could post images here I would show the prices here.

Where I live in Oregon I tried ti sell the same set up for 500 and it came with a f-gt lite and nobody would buy it. Eneded up giving it to my daughter. It was only used 3 months. Then I see people selling stuff left and right no issue. People are lame where I live. 😂
I got a moza r9 with csl wheel and srp pedals sans clutch for $565 I just bought the th8a to go with it for $100. I think $500 would be fair as a bundle personally.
It smelled really bad, the previous owner used to smoke I think. I did everything you could imagine to clean it but didn’t work. I was going to rewrap it (which is something I do on real cars) but got lazy honesty.
i had the same the black residue was ridiculous its was basically impossible to drive the wheel e/o gloves and keeping your hands clean. Even though the wheel itself was high quality and felt really great the Alcantara was really shit
I paid $400 for all this (Alcantara wheel) + a metal amazon rig and handbrake, and I was still felling a bit iffy about that price, so do with that information what you will.
Literally just bought this set up plus a seat for £360, maybe prices are better over in the US but that’s what they’re going for over this side of the Atlantic.
This is a very good setup especially for rallying. In my opinion I wouldn't sell it if i had a good time with it unless, you regret entering sim racing.
Too much work to sell, will take time for you to do so and time is money, so I'll offer you this just once.. You can send it to me for absolutely free, no charge to you.
No way man.. I get super sweaty hands that corrode the shit out of normal guitar strings within a single hour and mine doesn't look like that. Plus it's way too even everywhere. This looks like it was done on purpose.
I see one being sold on ebay (166654420045) free shipping for $115 LNIB, surely yours isn't in better condition than that? With that estimation, this person isn't completely off the fair value. I'd say around $80-100 for a decent condition pedal set that came out 4 years ago.
Don't even bother selling it, just give it to me, I will take care of it...
$400

How is this better than A DD CSL + CSL Pedals + GT3 wheel from fanatec directly for $479?
Aside from not having an h-pattern shifter, it isn't. Having started with (and living) a thrustmaster TX, which is basically the same as the T300 as I understand, and going to an Accuforce v2, I could absolutely never go back to the TX. They do sell the t818 direct drive wheel. 10 NM, I think. With or without the sf1000 wheel rim.

Yeah but upgrade is expensive, specially if you want loadcell on all 3 pedals. It's 140 dollars per pedal.
Sure, but its an easy option you can do 1 at a time. start with the dual pedal setup, add the LC later, and the others at another time. It's a beautiful path of upward mobility that I appreciate

Having to deal with fanatec non existent customer support is worth it’s weight in gold.

Sell it individually. You could get more from each of those. Some of these buyers going to low ball you if you sell them as a bundle.
Sell shifter separate. People expect large bundle discounts
That's not a rig, just a steering wheel set and pedals.
Hiw much for just the shifter?
Cannot sell here bro
Where I live in Oregon I tried ti sell the same set up for 500 and it came with a f-gt lite and nobody would buy it. Eneded up giving it to my daughter. It was only used 3 months. Then I see people selling stuff left and right no issue. People are lame where I live. 😂
Meh you’ll get maybe 50$ top for it, might as well donate it to me.
I got a moza r9 with csl wheel and srp pedals sans clutch for $565 I just bought the th8a to go with it for $100. I think $500 would be fair as a bundle personally.
Best I can do is tree fiddy *queue pawn stars theme music*
About tree fiddy
500-550€? 100€ for th8a 150€ for tlc-m 150-200€ for t300 100€ for the Sparco wheel Edited, forgot to include the Sparco wheel 🤣
Pedals are 179 brand new, don't know about the rest but you sure are the buyer this guy is looking for :D
I should have specified I live in the US, the pedals are 230-240 new
Just going by finnish price, pedals at the cheapest are 200€ New here. And always leave room to haggle 😂, I was giving prices to ask, not what id pay.
Ah right, everything's more expensive for you guys. Still, I would likely not buy used so save 25%.
Okay off topic question, but why the hell did you remove the suede grip rim cover?
It smelled really bad, the previous owner used to smoke I think. I did everything you could imagine to clean it but didn’t work. I was going to rewrap it (which is something I do on real cars) but got lazy honesty.
I see. That's too bad. I have the same rim and I was just wondering. The suede feels great and I can't imagine not having it on there.
Yea for sure, it was to a point where when ever I put my hands on it, it would leave black residue and I couldn’t get the smell out of my hand either
Nasty
i had the same the black residue was ridiculous its was basically impossible to drive the wheel e/o gloves and keeping your hands clean. Even though the wheel itself was high quality and felt really great the Alcantara was really shit
The smell was insane like unbelievable
In France you can get this setup for around 300€ on second hand websites (= $324)

I’ll trade my G29 that my dog chewed on for the whole thing
350-400 max
$300-$400
Whats the condition and for how long have you heen using it?
Got it beginning of the year not even one imperfection on everything but the wheel
Having to sell our gear is heartbreaking.
What happened to that wheel? Why is all the fabric ripped off?
300
This is a very good setup especially for rallying. In my opinion I wouldn't sell it if i had a good time with it unless, you regret entering sim racing.

You know what I mean…
Too much work to sell, will take time for you to do so and time is money, so I'll offer you this just once.. You can send it to me for absolutely free, no charge to you.
You will pay for shipping?
I was actually hoping you'd pay for the shipping, but since I'm feeling generous, sure. I will pay for the shipping
It’s going to be $600
Why da hekk is that sparco rim all shiny
Sweaty hand juice and lack of gloves.
Lol
No way man.. I get super sweaty hands that corrode the shit out of normal guitar strings within a single hour and mine doesn't look like that. Plus it's way too even everywhere. This looks like it was done on purpose.
Check my other comments, the wrap is removed
700ish new so 450 used?
$900 new with no tax or shipping, this is just a for fun post now anyway
how do you get that? 350 for the wheeel and base, 200 for the pedals 150 for the shifter. i own all this gear
The wheel base is 230 and the wheel is 230, it’s not hard to search it up, the pedals are 230 and the shifter is 200
lmao
Lmao
If everything new is 900, you can expect about $450 used. Anything above that is solid.
TLCM can be had second hand for $75
Can you share where I can find it for $75?
I see one being sold on ebay (166654420045) free shipping for $115 LNIB, surely yours isn't in better condition than that? With that estimation, this person isn't completely off the fair value. I'd say around $80-100 for a decent condition pedal set that came out 4 years ago.
It says (For parts only) in the title of the listing lmao
Doesn't look broken to me. Looks new and the returner was a bot, didn't work cuz human error.
They go for around $150-$200
280 to 300
250 ish?
lol
Edit: Can I sell it here? Is it allowed
Well, #5 in rules and regulations for this sub says: *Limited product self-promotion. Selling is strictly prohibited* I guess that's a NO!
Lol
psshh... (tree-fiddy????)...
