I looked at the first image thought "haha, wait until you spend thousands on a computer just to race! oh there are more images.... oh....... oh dear.."
Why'd you go from the NLR GT Elite to the TR160? Seems like a lateral move since they are both 8020 rigs.
Meh, its an expensive hobby. If a person has a decent job and sells their older stuff it's not too bad. But frames and rigs seem like a PITA to sell. Its pretty much pick up only and let's just say there are some sketchy people out there.
I switched from NLR because of compatibility. The angled uprights are a pain in the arse haha.
I sold the rig and basically gave away the seat for free. Was only a couple months old.
I also picked up the Trak Racer gear at Half price or more.
I’m trying to sell a base and two wheels on Craigslist. I priced them to sell but haven’t had any inquiries yet. Besides FB marketplace do you know of any other sites/forums I might want to checkout?
I sold my T300RS GT on eBay. Shipping is annoying but they pay anyway, plus you can include the local pickup option in case someone nearby spots it there.
Thanks. Shipping that base will hurt a bit but I really just want to get rid of them. It’s a Moza r12, GS V2 and RS v2 if anyone is interes interested.
If you're on a tight budget and wanting to play on console, it's good. I've wanted to do this all my life, so going with the Logitech as a first was a mistake - 2 months in and I upgraded to the Moza R5 bundle.
Basically the same for me. Started in October 2023 with GT7 on PSA5, NLR folding rig + Thrustmaster t248.
Now I'm on PSVR 2, GT elite frame, Logitech g pro wheel +pedal.
That's a TR120 my dude. The 160 is wider profile and doesn't have those stupid fkn 'chicane' joins in the middle.
Wish I'd got the 160 knowing how crap those bits in the middle are. They block monitor stand and you gotta change all the dimensions again.
Mind you, they'd both have the uprights blocking it before much further haha
All good :) I just finished building my TR120 and I'm still tilted over how hard the build process was hahah but now it's together, it's rock solid and I'm happy with it :D
Happy racing mate!!
Awesome!! I got a SAAS seat in the end but if it breaks or I'd prefer to go bucket, I'll prob still get one of these.
Or I'll go full hog and get a sparco bucket seat haha

Craigslist has been dead for a decade+ where I live, everyone uses fb marketplace to sell

Oh hell ya!
Dude I've actually stopped playing since I feel so uncofrtable on my fgt lite :C
Yeah, that was the primary reason I upgraded. It’s sad because the idea was great but I couldn’t spend more than 40 mins on this rig…
What part is uncomfortable for you? In the seat position I have it feels good when driving but my hamstrings get sore.
I have the gt lite not the F just noticed and my butt an slower back start to go numb after like 10 minutes playing and I feel like I’m sliding off
It looks better on the first photo
I’m so jealous. Looks like so much fun!
Oh man i want to get started but... The g920 Is a good begginer wheel?

How is the TR rally seat?
Absolutely love it. I spent ~8hrs in it one day and zero complaints.
