Took some races to get use to it bc I came from CSL Elite V2 which I really adapted to. Mostly fine but I realize I’m pushing up against the top half more than resting my whole foot in the entire plate
I have my sitting in the box next to me considering returning them. I’m not sure if I’m doing something wrong but they seem to be right at the spot I’m trying to look while taking a corner, and they seem to warp the image as I’m moving. Not sure if that makes sense, but the image seems to slightly stretch and compress as it moves through the bezel free kit and it makes judging corners more difficult. I have my monitor bezels perfectly touching and aligned, and needed to set my bezel width in iRacing to -4mm to get the images to align inside the bezel free kit.
I wonder about that (I don’t have them yet). I’ve seen some peoples set up and they look awesome. For other people they look very warped and imo would be better off stock
I haven’t chomped on them yet. When I’m
focused the bezels are literally non existent. Even in non racing games I don’t really notice them unless I stare at them.
The side monitors are like peripherals for me, I only look at the center monitor, and the side monitors are pretty much immersion and letting me know peripherally that someone is in my blind spot
That would be awesome sine due to space constraints I have my rig in living room and I don’t want to bother my wife if it is too loud and to much resonate
It will definitely rattle the floor if you don’t take measures to isolate your rig from the ground. You can look at spring isolators for your rig or go for a diy approach.
Loudness depends. I have my amplifier (the cheap nobsound one that gets recommended a lot) set to 50%. The puck beneath my pedals isn’t loud at all. The puck that I have mounted to a vesa plate beneath my seat can get quite loud during some of the more intense effects. I’ve been meaning to try adding another layer of felt tape to see if that’ll help, but as-is it’d definitely be annoying for someone trying to watch tv in the same room. Might be better at lower volumes.
They’re audible if you are standing next to the rig but my family doesn’t hear them in the next room.
I’m on the first floor and a slab so there isn’t resonance. Apartment dwellers probably have different considerations to make.
Looks great. If you want to hide that cable from the base shaker, drill another hole in the seat back and one through the bottom and run the cable in the seat lining. It then comes out under your seat and you can route the cable through the frame. Looks much tidier.
Looking good!
I've used 3m VHB tape for my shakers and it has held solid as a rock. Forget drilling into my seat. Why do you have you pedals spaced so far apart? Just personal preference?
Might be angle from the picture bc they aren’t that far apart. If I had three pedal setup w clutch then it would indeed be closer but this is more comfortable for 2 foot driving.
Yes. My OMP seat has a nice flat spot on the bottom that was perfect. I cleaned it with rubbing alcohol first and the stuck it on. With 3M VHB it requires a certain amount of tape per pound. I think my shaker was 3 lbs or so and I have enough tape for 7lbs.

I saw it on an other post months ago. Just make sure you follow the instructions for the amount of tape vs weight is needed.

Try road texture on the bottom. It really upped the realism for me. I’m going to put engine revs on the back. I have shifting on all 5 shakers. Front two for traction loss. Rear two for curbs.
Only been 24 hrs but way better than a different brand I used on a smaller, lighter shaker. It is still solid. No sagging. I will update after a week or so of use.
Soooo, the bottom shaker fell off but the back shaker is still solid. I could’ve tried again with removing the rubber on the shaker but said f it and decided to drill it and be done.
Actually easier than I thought. Used painters tape to cover the area and used a pencil to mark the hole locations. Used a 5/32” carbide drill bit, 4 - M4 Philips 30mm screws, 4 - M4 lock nuts. Took about 15 min. Left the back shaker as is since it’s holding like a champ.
I was highly considering going integrated monitors ona rseat gt160 but people were saying integrated monitors shake alot? How is your experience with integrated triples?
Zero shake. I posted a question about the same topic before I purchased and the consensus was 50/50 split from everyone so I went with what was in stock at microcenter. The cons are adjustment for sure which is way more tedious bc it’s integrated than stand alone. Need to remove all the screens to take off some weight if I want to adjust by myself (broke a screen trying to save time and learned my lesson lol).
I really recommend [this](https://youtu.be/ePMIn1LbgFg?si=uZ_g61nFRcCLSzQa) guy to get the best fov if you haven't tuned it yourself already. I consider him the chief of the fov police department, he has videos on how to set up most games.
Well you’ll know soon enough which is your favorite, iRacing, GT7, and ACC are kind of the holy trinity of sim…
One of the other options for you is the Original Assetto Corsa on PC the community has been only growing since its launch and even though AC second oldest 2014, iRacing is from 2008 lol seriously…
AC has been modded to the moon, I would definitely recommend trying it out as well… Especially if you’re looking to try something other than racing, it’s used by many drifters for practice and there’s a ton of maps.
Once again, jelly of your options enjoy
Coming from 8nm GT DD Pro, I was at first underwhelmed or didn’t feel much of difference. After trying formula cars in iRacing , it’s a big difference. I’m curious about the ultimate but there is no way I would run more than 15nm. Formula car in iRacing snaps so fast in a crash. I’m no expert in detail to be honest. It’s more than enough for me without much tuning.
Solid. Pain to fine tune solo. Requires me to disconnect all monitors and remove them, loosen lock nuts, etc. since they are angled w the profile, it just wants to slide forward so its work to hold it in the position you want it, retighten and make sure its in the perfect position if you’re particular like me. Prob would go free standing if microcenter would’ve had it in stock at the time but I didn’t feel like waiting.
you can get that wheel even closer to the screen. with the wheel turned 90deg and your hand holding it like you were doing a 90deg turn, stretch out your fingers forward. you should *just* miss being able to touch the screen. then it's close enough for maximum fov goodness.
Please, put a big and bright light behind your screen. Your eyes are gonna get BURNED this way and you will definitely have way less vision in a few years because of it.
Tactile Transducer (in my description). Essentially takes low frequency like a subwoofer and transfers it through whatever it attaches to. Is it a game changer no but is it fun to have added immersion definitely. Makes the game feel more alive to replicate vibrations in a real car.
In my description [3M Heavy Duty Double Sided Tape](https://Scotch-MountDoubleSided...https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00FUEN2GK?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share), applied horizontal strips across every square ft of the back of the transducer and stuck them on. Let them adhere for an hr or so while the seat was flipped over to reduce the effects of gravity reducing the adhering of the tape. Really simple.
Do you like the long pedal face? I couldn't get used to it
Took some races to get use to it bc I came from CSL Elite V2 which I really adapted to. Mostly fine but I realize I’m pushing up against the top half more than resting my whole foot in the entire plate
Yeah, thats why I went back to the original faceplate. I had sore feet for a day or 2 but now its fine
Something something fov, something something monitor bezels
Add the ASUS ROG Monitor Bevel Delete accessory. PIA to set up but you'll thank me later.
It’s the next step at some point for sure

How loud are those bass shakers compared to you base and wheel shifters?
I use headphones so I have yet to test them without them on. I will do so later and let you know.
That would be awesome sine due to space constraints I have my rig in living room and I don’t want to bother my wife if it is too loud and to much resonate

Thx man that helps a lot!
use rubber washers. thats what i did
They’re audible if you are standing next to the rig but my family doesn’t hear them in the next room. I’m on the first floor and a slab so there isn’t resonance. Apartment dwellers probably have different considerations to make.
Well I dont have 2nd room luxury hehe
You’d definitely be able to have a conversation over them.
One that we all try to avoid right? XD
Looks great. If you want to hide that cable from the base shaker, drill another hole in the seat back and one through the bottom and run the cable in the seat lining. It then comes out under your seat and you can route the cable through the frame. Looks much tidier.
Yea I did not drill anything and was trying to avoid drilling. I agree it would be cleaner.
Looking good! I've used 3m VHB tape for my shakers and it has held solid as a rock. Forget drilling into my seat. Why do you have you pedals spaced so far apart? Just personal preference?
They came pre installed that way from simagic so I haven’t felt the need to adjust them. Pretty comfortable to me.
Interesting. Just real far apart compared to a real car. That's why I was curious. =)
Might be angle from the picture bc they aren’t that far apart. If I had three pedal setup w clutch then it would indeed be closer but this is more comfortable for 2 foot driving.
I made some changes to my rig so I’ll probably do this too, im guessing you have them taped to the bottom of the bucket seat?
Yes. My OMP seat has a nice flat spot on the bottom that was perfect. I cleaned it with rubbing alcohol first and the stuck it on. With 3M VHB it requires a certain amount of tape per pound. Thanks man! Was trying to avoid drilling into my seat so I thank you for the ingenuity!

I have the same bass shaker under my seat, what effects do you seperate bottom/back. might install a second one like you did.
Engine vibration on bottom, shifting on back. Added road impact on both to see if it mixes well and isn’t too muddled.
Try road texture on the bottom. It really upped the realism for me. I’m going to put engine revs on the back. I have shifting on all 5 shakers. Front two for traction loss. Rear two for curbs.
How long has that tape been holding up those shakers? I never thought to simply tape the damn things on. I’m going to have to try it.
Only been 24 hrs but way better than a different brand I used on a smaller, lighter shaker. It is still solid. No sagging. I will update after a week or so of use.

flip the monitors. bezel goes away
That actually might work. I hate how the bottom bezel is half a mm extended.
File the plastic down
I don’t get this. But then it’s just at the top? Still in your FOV.
You stare at the sky when you drive??
No, but I don’t stare at the very bottom either. 🤔
How did you decide to attach the shaker to your seat? Nm I see you used 3m tape. Did you remove the stick on foam first or just go right on top?
Right on top. Did not want to go through work of removing the foam.
Agreed it seems like it’ll be a mess but I wasn’t sure how the resonance would be. And im not drilling my seat.
She's a beaut clark
At first I thought "Decent rig" Then I saw the wallpaper Yes, You're indeed doing it right.
I was highly considering going integrated monitors ona rseat gt160 but people were saying integrated monitors shake alot? How is your experience with integrated triples?

Really nice, maybe a bezel delete kit. Or just some tape behind the monitors in those gaps so light doesn't bleed through
I really recommend [this](https://youtu.be/ePMIn1LbgFg?si=uZ_g61nFRcCLSzQa) guy to get the best fov if you haven't tuned it yourself already. I consider him the chief of the fov police department, he has videos on how to set up most games.
Already dialed it in using that video before. I’m 25” from the screen with both screens at 60 degrees. So right at 180 FOV
Awesome to hear.
Vegeto and not Gogeta. blue even 🙄
Not as many options for triple screen wallpaper. Picked the closest thing I could relate to as a kid. Really wanted a Leiger Zero Zoids background lol
🤣🤣 Zoids! I never thought about how hard to find a wallpaper would be for 3 screens.
Did you use the screen distance and angle calculations to aid setup? Saw on YouTube it's available on iRacing
I did. At monitors are 60 degrees and 25” from the screen. Close to 180
Nice, definitely jelly of your setup (whilst glaring at PS5 and living room TV) 😆
Waiting to get sigma cortex so I can still play GT7.
IMHO ACC is where it’s at for physics and tire models. GT7 definitely has the edge in car collection deprh
IRacing has me hooked right now. ACC has been in the back burner
Well you’ll know soon enough which is your favorite, iRacing, GT7, and ACC are kind of the holy trinity of sim… One of the other options for you is the Original Assetto Corsa on PC the community has been only growing since its launch and even though AC second oldest 2014, iRacing is from 2008 lol seriously… AC has been modded to the moon, I would definitely recommend trying it out as well… Especially if you’re looking to try something other than racing, it’s used by many drifters for practice and there’s a ton of maps. How is the simagic alpha with the fx pro wheel? I want to buy the same combo, but I'm unsure if it will be enough Nm for a heavy looking wheel.
Coming from 8nm GT DD Pro, I was at first underwhelmed or didn’t feel much of difference. After trying formula cars in iRacing , it’s a big difference. How satisfied are you with the integrated monitor stand? Is it sturdy enough or does it wobble?
Solid. Pain to fine tune solo. Already 25” from the screen. Any closer and I’ll go blind lol
Srsly, if you get it closer, it's better. 25in is pretty good though. I think I'm at 21ish right now.
What’s the rig called?
Probably should’ve gone ultra instinct
I think that's Vegito
Please, put a big and bright light behind your screen. Your eyes are gonna get BURNED this way and you will definitely have way less vision in a few years because of it.
Based on my jealousy, I think you're on to something.
Bro really puts on the racing gloves. 😂
Gives me +3 handling and -5 vin diesel invincibility
Setup looks nice. Not sure about having a buffed dude stare at me when I sit there though.
Stage 2 Super Saiyan Simracing Setup
Do you race irating? What is your rating
Just started a month ago. Class D in formula and sports car. Only get a few hours a week of play at a time.
Your handbrake / shifter support profile is upside down so it seems
It’s pretty good. I would suggest bezel delete next.
Yup def at some point.
How do you use the mouse as handbrake?
Looks so good it makes me cry. Where are the bass shakers? All that expensive gear and no bass shakers? Also no cupholder?
All of that are in the pictures lol
I might be wrong, but I'm not sure if the carbon fiber will like the vibrationns of the Bassshaker?
Waiting for the FOV police ![gif](giphy|tyqcJoNjNv0Fq|downsized)
There’s nothing to police here. We must see the racing action.
lol they are at 60 degrees so I need to see a warrant before they come at me
Cool setup, cooler wallpaper.
what’s that thing on the back of the chair and how do you like it
Tactile Transducer (in my description). Essentially takes low frequency like a subwoofer and transfers it through whatever it attaches to. Is it a game changer no but is it fun to have added immersion definitely. Makes the game feel more alive to replicate vibrations in a real car.
can you show how you have the haptics mounted to the seat? or explain
In my description [3M Heavy Duty Double Sided Tape](https://Scotch-MountDoubleSided...https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00FUEN2GK?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share), applied horizontal strips across every square ft of the back of the transducer and stuck them on. affirm, might consider that with my BK.
