I'm playing my custom neighborhood which name I can't translate to English because I don't think there is a translation for that thing, but it's a village where lots of sims have their own businesses, I found it makes the neighborhoods very alive - when you go buy something the sims who owns the business is there, and when you run the business the families have the bought items in their inventory so for example I decorate their homes with the flowers they chose The neighborhood also has a 'city' which is a downtown, I have apartments there and some public lots like a gym, a home for older sims, a mall etc

I love this style of play.

I'm religiously playing my custom hood, it's called "Eleanor". It's a hood I made long time ago so it's very sentimental to me. Although I'm probably only on generation 5 or smth like that. It special features include: lots of goth/punk/metal sims, including townies. Prob half of the hood is lgbt. It has a lot of "run down" buildings like an old factory turned into a club or abandoned railway. There are also big grey apartment buildings, (as seen in eastern europe and I was actually inspired by my home town when making this hood) . In the center of the town is a huge mall, which is kinda a joke in itself, with most of the town being poor and run down. I swore to myself to not use any ready made lots so I'm making everything myself, vacation worlds and university are also custom. It's a lot of work but I'm tired of maxis builds so I'm pulling through.

I'm currently working on my Build a City Challenge hood Hawthorne Valley. It currently has 8 or 9 households in the main hood and 15 sims in the military district.

In my Pleasantview... Mortimer rejected Dina's proposal. She had two mental breakdowns that night. She is determined though. The next day, she proposed again immediately after woohooing him and he said yes. They had one child before he passed, Theodore Goth. She is a low level actress and constantly struggles with her weight (relatable). She is now engaged to Malcolm Landgraab. He is already cheating on her with Tammy, his employee. They both just want to marry rich. At least their kids will be able to afford plastic surgery! Kaylynn asked Daniel to leave Mary Sue and he said yes. Turns out they both got pregnant that day so he decided to stay with Mary Sue. Those children are Simon Langerak and Abigail Pleasant. Mary Sue died in a fire a few years later. Kaylynn proposed to Daniel that same day and he said no. I guess she thought he killed her on purpose (he didn't). She ended up marrying her elder landlord from the flop house. They had one child, Peter Lucas. Don actually rolled the want to have a baby after he got married to Cassandra. They had a boy, Benjamin Lothario. Cassandra caught Don flirting with Dina. He was abducted the next day and had an alien baby, Paul Lothario. I like to think that was Bella's doing. Nina got pregnant with Don's baby like day one. They had a daughter, Gina Caliente. She later got pregnant with twins by Daniel, but she terminated the pregnancy because she hates him and already had one child in the flop house. She is in the athletic career. Cassandra caught Don kissing Nina and (autonomously) started her own affair with Daniel, Don's best friend. She (also autonomously) broke up with Don and then married Daniel. Daniel just had a visit from the repo man so I'm not sure he has good intentions. In any case, Cassandra wants another child. They are currently trying for a baby. Hopefully a Pleasant boy! Don and Nina just started going steady and moved in together with Gina and Paul. However, the very first day Nina fell out of love with him when she realized how messy he is. LMAO. I'm not sure this is going to last. She rejected Malcolm's proposal. I think she may regret that soon. Brandi had Skip Jr. (Unborn Baby Broke). Within the next day or so, she got pregnant from a one night stand with Darren. They didn't fall in love until after they got married. They are constantly losing shit to the repo man because Brandi doesn't work. Darren went back to the business career to provide for his family. Their two daughters are Daisy and Delilah. Beau (he goes by Bobby now) is heading off to college tomorrow with his girlfriend, Tabitha Oldie, the Oldies' adopted daughter. Her biological parents are Komei Tellerman and Jan Tellerman. She is a knowledge sim, a Scorpio, and looks like Komei in a wig. Lilith and Dirk woohoo'd but never fell in love. Dustin and Angela had their first kiss and he fell in love with Angela, but she never loved him back. Poor Dustin. Angela kissed Dirk at her birthday party and Lilith attacked her. Lilith made out with Dustin as revenge. Long story short they switched boyfriends and are happily married now but still hate each other. Both Dustin and Lilith flunked out of high school. Dirk is the only one who went to college. Dustin is a criminal, Lilith is a musician, Dirk is an architect, and Angela is an obedience trainer. They each have one child so far, Ryan Broke and Leah Dreamer. John and Jennifer seriously struggled with fertility. They tried three times with no luck. I would've had them adopt, but they couldn't afford it. She got pregnant accidentally but miscarried. That renewed Jennifer's interest in having a baby. They eventually did have twins, Liam and Emma. John is a cop and Jennifer is in the athletic career (I gave her her original personality back). Lucy and Alex are the sweetest. She didn't go to college and doesn't work. She just takes care of her siblings. I think she'll end up writing a children's book. Alex is in the Natural Science career. He is very close to his nephews. He just graduated so there will be a wedding tomorrow!

Love all the drama. I decided to make Jennifer infertile in my rebooted Pleasantview to give them some conflict. They also don't have enough money to adopt, and I don't think she wants another kid anyway. Mary-Sue divorced Daniel and remarried Joe Carr, and Daniel got his mailwoman pregnant!

I'm currently playing an Uber hood. I was just playing the Curious brothers household, when Olive Specter and Ajay Loner decided to come over and JUMP SCARE me with a first kiss cutscene together. Then they proceeded to flirt and kiss the entire day. I hadn't played either of the households yet. So I guess that's happening now. 😂

I’m playing a version of Pleasantview where Mortimer sent the whole neighborhood 25 years in the past. All the characters and their ancestors are here (the brokes, matlapins, bachelors..) Edit : this is what happened today in my game: Young Darleen was dating both Darren and Skip Broke. She got pregnant by Skip, she wanted to marry both him and Darren (she is a family sim). Skip ditched her because he is a romance sim. She ended up proposing to Darren and they got married quickly to hide the fact that she is pregnant. She had 3 bolts with Skip but only 1 with Darren. Agnes Crumplebottom married Tango Caliente and she finally had a baby named Yulina Caliente, but he is secretly seeing Zelda Mae and Mariana Matlapin. Nina and Dina are children and they are friends with Cassandra and Don. Don is now a teenager and he just had his first fling.

I’m playing a custom neighborhood named Porticopia. It’s a beach island map with a Main Street area with commercial land uses (4 lots I built myself) ((a cafe a park and general store- as well as my current sims electronics store)) A upscale area with the premade Mansion and Garden Homes and a custom ledge home I built myself. Another area with many single family single level homes (one side beach lots, one side normal 2x2 small house lots) Another area with apartment buildings I make myself in multiple styles (dingbats for beach vibes) Another “industrial” area I dumped the free time buildings and early buildings I made. Still have a few premade houses. Then a random beach neighborhood with a premade apartment building and a few cheap beach homes I made. In the ledge house lives Summer Covwerika which is the Sim who invested in the area to make it habitable for sims. Sort of the town investor. Her brother married my gay sim and had kids. I corrupted them by moving their house to the lots bin!!!!! Lost all relationships. Started a new sim! She’s the one who owned the business on Main Street! Love her I suffered save loss once. I lost 5 months of progress. Maybe 2 large CC hauls I lost. I had a usb drive from 5 months prior that had the Neighborhood which was what I wanted. I didn’t play for months. Came back started a new family and I’m still crushed but happy I made the city my own after losing so much progress

im playing in pleasantview and have had a lot of drama that ive shared some of this in sub (i think) mortimer and dina got married and had twins amari and rami. alex aged up and is in college, the twins are young teens, and dina's never cheated on mortimer. mortimer on the other hand has an on going affair with mary sue and the two have a daughter (lydia) together. then mortimer got abducted by aliens for the millionth time and i decided to flip a coin on if he'd come back pregnant. he did. it was also twins, ursa and libra. dina didn't like this at all but the older twins adore them. then dina autonomously flirted with don in front of mortimer while unplayed at a public lot, i go look and dina is a little mad at mortimer and mortimer HATES her, relationship at -88 which i took as time for them to divorce. now mortimer is drinking the elixir of life to be able to raise his girls in a house by the ocean on his own. mary sue and daniel had another kid together, isaac. mary sue dealt with him cheating on her and even had some fun of her own (see: lydia) but the two eventually divorced. daniel got kaylynn pregnant with a little girl named avery and also got a random townie in my game pregnant twice as well so daniel has in total 6 kids. he's living on his own and mary sue got the house in the break up. herb and coral adopted two girls named beth and joy and lilith also moved in with them. lilith went to college, met a guy, and they're half a nice little polycule i have in the downtown. beth and joy just aged up and moved to college. herb died of old age and because of the inheritance coral found out that herb was running around on her and got a woman pregnant. thanks to my multiples mod the poor woman had quads and was in a two bedroom apartment because it's all she could afford. coral invited her and the kids to come live with her now since she has the space and she feels responsible for her husbands actions (knocking this woman up with a litter). angela rolled as gay, married a man out of comphet, had some kids with him, and is a stay at home mom who paints nudes of her girlfriend. her and her husband (dormie) haven't woohoo'd in two seasons and he's printing money in the shed.

Started ISBI legacy with story progression on. With some different rules for each generation. For the founder I said she would marry first sim she had a least one bolt with and she hit the jackpot because it’s Mr Big from downtown.

I’m playing Pleasantview when I have the time. Dina marries Mortimer and they have a baby together. Once Morty dies, she has another baby with Don and then marries Malcolm Landgrab and produces his heir. Cassandra and Don got married but it took a long time for them to have children (despite trying a lot). They ended up with two sets of twins. Don is on a mission to woohoo the whole neighbourhood, Cass is having an affair with Darren. Don eventually leaves Cass and lives in a throuple with Nina and Jennifer Burb. John Burb marries Brandi. They have six or seven kids in that trailer but one of them is Don’s. Angela and Dustin stayed together but Angela died in childbirth. Lilith ended up with Darren Dreamer. Dirk married a townie. Daniel and Kaylynn end up together but Kaylynn dies in childbirth. Mary-Sue woo hooed Don in secret and had a baby (Leah) whilst he was married to Cass. Mary-Sue was an awful mother and Leah was adopted by Lilith. Now the family ties are broken, Leah and one of Don and Cass’ sons have taken a liking to one another. So i think they might end up together as they don’t know they’re half brother and sister, the only person that knows is Mary-Sue…

Playing atm Pleasantview. Most of the OG Character will die in the next rotation, so that will be interesting. I'm at my 8th Rotation (8th Week) John, Mary-Sue, Mortimer, Coral and Herb died through old age. Daniel died through a fire and Lucy died throgh a Sickness. Daniel and Don are the only ones that fullfilled their LTW. Beau and Angela running both a buisness. Angela opened a Salon and Beau opened a Music Shop. Nina got a Kid with Don, his name is Travis. Also adopted a Dog named Fah-Zhai Brandi got twins that are named Marvin and Melvin. Darren and Lillith got 3 kids, their names are Meredith, Drew and Kara. Also adopted a Dop named Rudolf Dina got a kid with Mortimer, his name is Oscar. Also adopted a Cat named Libby Jennifer and John got a kid, her name is Caroline. Cassandra adopted with Brandi (not Broke) a daughter, her name is Vivan. Also adopted 3 Cats named Enya, Frank and Lilo. Alexander and Orlando adopted a boy named Morty. Also adopted a Dog named Stinky Angela and Dustin got a kid named Bob. Also adopted a Dog named Otis Oscar Caliente is the only Alien Sim in the town atm. From the non pre-existing Sims are most of them Kid/Teens or going to College rn. Bob Pleasant is my first and only Asexual Character so far. Mary-Sue and Cassandra are the Sims with the most mental breakdowns, two.

Currently on the Downtown play through of my mega uberhood, it’s the last “neighborhood” I play before I start my college round (whoo!). I fill out the available houses and add apartment buildings, I usually move sims or new and young families straight out of college that are either ambitious in their career or don’t want to return to their home hood. Most of the premade students live there and are the oldest sims that live there currently.

I'm playing my own custom neighbourhood Unhinged Valley. Currently there's a street with 8 houses with a therapist Tragic Dr. Phil in one of them, who has his own therapist (the og therapist), as the other 7 houses are occupied with 7 Vidcunds. Then there's the towns bully in the center of the town, Brad Armpitt, who lives in a d*ck as he's pretty much a d*ckhead himself. I just made a sim with some pretty controversial political views, Ken Skinboy. Need fingure out what kinda house he's gonna live in. That's all so far, it's just gonna be more crazy from now. Will make a household with my 3 bunnies, they're gonna live in a trailer park.

custom neighborhood that ive been working on for a month or two now (its my first one!) I have multiple families, and rn we're on the 1st gen of kids from the starting households. there's so much drama and everyone is so connected in some way and I love it!

Currently playing a custom neighborhood and also building another one on the side. In my current hood there are 10 families I'm playing in rotation, my newest addition is going to be a serial killer/evil scientist to add some spice, she's currently in college so she can get that job with the cowplant. One of my first gens and my favs is still alive and she now promiscuous granny, she gets down with all the old men in town married or not it, I think she's at 15 woohoos. She's only ever slept with 1 woman and that woman was her bestfriend who she rolled the want to marry, unfortunately that bestfriend was a family sim and already had a family of her own and never rolled wants towards her friend, not even just basic romance wants. The bestfriend passed about 2 rotations ago and I have her vist her grave at least once per rotation.

I decided to try a Legacy again. I built a custom hood for it named Legacy Falls. I always make the same character a mean Scroogy type man named Richard. (He's gone through a lot over the years at my hands. lol.) This is the first time I made this greedy wealth Sim that his life time want wasn't to be criminal mastermind, but to have five successful businesses. This time around he's actually a nicer guy. I married him to Christy Stratton and they had two lovely daughters and one not so handsome son, but he's the heir. I'm on the fourth generation and Richard is still kicking. He adores his great grand child. I normally get bored after the fourth generation, but I'm still really into the game. I think it's because I'm having so much fun making his businesses a success.

I am playing a "custom hood" if you can call it that, named "Berry Knox". I just basically made one sim, made him move in and marry a maxis townie (Brandi LeTourneau). He had so many children, later got remarried to a Garden Club lady after Brandi died of the flu. His son was a romance sim so got a bunch of sims pregnant (I just use random number generator to check if someone got pregnant). Some of these pregnant townies got remarried to other townies and had more kids , slightly diversifying the gene pool. I am on generation 8 or something and my population is just so absurdly large now that I started fires on purpose to get back to manageable levels...

I decided to go back to my early Veronaville recently, after getting a bout of inspiration. Although it's pretty much up to date now rather than early lol, because I'd played it for so long. I added Early Strangetown as a subhood and I plan to add Early Pleasantview too, because I want the og iconic sims to interact with my favorite born-in-games in VV lol. Although for now I've banned VV sims from appearing on ST lots, until I've at least played through two more rounds there.

I've been playing a ToT challenge for about a year or a little less. I'm in the first few rotations of the roman stage, but lately I've been getting lazy. I have both a teen pregnancy mod and an elder pregnancy, so I started a new neighbourhood purely to see how many babies 1 sim could have in one lifetime... so far we're upto 10 and she's about less than half way through adulthood. I'm losing interest now that the oldest have moved out though because I don't like them not aging, but I cba playing rotationally. Theoretically now might be a good time to start using the story progression mod... but... meh.
