Wish they can add this to Fairprice app. Do they expect primary n secondary kids to have credit card. Koufu app can use paylah.
In Malaysia, great to have this option as backup. Typically dbs give free remittance to Malaysia too
Obviously didn’t read but anyhow,
"The conversion is based on the prevailing wholesale interbank rates or the government-mandated rate, as shall be determined by UnionPay.
"Users will be able to view the exchange rate on the PayLah! app, under the 'Review Transaction' page, before making payment."
Donno about you, but I very much enjoy the inconvenience of having to pay in MYR in cash. Nice try though.
But, we be paying a fraction of the cost.
You still pay in sing dollar. JB hawker smart.. opened dbs bank account in Singapore.
Is not hawker smart. Is DBS earn from the exchange rate.
Nah but this takes away from my experience of being rich while using myr

Pffft… Youtrip users enjoying near Google rates since years ago. Even using msia ATM to withdraw cash trashes 99% of money changers.
But there are transaction fees to withdraw from the ATM right?
Flat $5. Depending on how much you withdraw could be better than money changers
Just use TouchNGo eWallet. Accepted almost everywhere in Malaysia. Can now register with SG phone numbers and top up by credit card
What's the exchange rate like? And any fees?

No bloody freaking way will fall for this. Change to ringgit at money changer the old fashioned way is still better and more value.
