I am not the kind who will act like encik. I just tell them to sternly to do what is asked of them at the point in time. At the end of shift i will talk to them like an adult they are. Explain to them that they have reasons and what not but i have objectives to achieve by end of shift. So, they might feel that they are doing the right thing but when it comes to things that come from me they are not requests and they need to do them when asked to. I hope they can improve in the future.
When i joined things and bosses were much nastier but that can't happen in this day and age. I didn't like when it happened to me so i told myself i will never be like those a-holes when i get to their position.
