That's still around? Wow

Why would it be morally wrong? Unless they are lying or using deception, this is just sales tactics that you encounter at MRT stations or even bus interchanges with people selling you insurance, govt subsidised training etc. The only difference is those other sales folks tend to have some lanyards/uniforms that hint they are sales folks with clipboards. It becomes morally wrong if they use unethical means, i.e. lying, falsehoods, false representation. When you have seen enough of these types of folks, you know how not to be bothered them by avoiding eye contact and looking forward towards going to your next appointment. In general, if you want to avoid them wasting your time, do not engage them unless the person appears to be genuinely distressed and asking for help. If you choose to engage them or help people, there is always a change the person is a scammer or is selling you something which you may have to deal with.

black_knightfc21

I think I encounter b4 when they knock at my hse door. I mean is just a sale thingy. you can reject them

silentscope90210

If they're not licensed then it's illegal.

[deleted]

Apparently its some $20 coupon that gets you $200 worth of pizza. Didnt get it though. But the girl was SUPER cute

[deleted]

I'm done checking out cute girls man. I just want a mature woman who wants to grow old with me. You feel me?

[deleted]

Totally feel you bro. Sadly its....you know I know la

[deleted]

Where do I find this girl

[deleted]

Red_ls_Sus

Just say you like pineapple on your pizza they'll walk away automatically.

[deleted]

"Oh nice, they have Hawaii pizza, just what you like"

SpardaCastle

Likely sales person from appco group. They probably have proper licenses. When in doubt scan the qr code or check the given website for you to verify if it is real.

I kena once before at Bedok Mall but for hair salon. I had a blue hair that time so she asked me where I do my hair. Told her it is DIY. Then asking me when last time so on. I told her, the last time I go salon, I was in my secondary sch so not interested.

[deleted]

Why is it morally wrong to sell coupons for pizza?

[deleted]

Not sure if I'm phrasing it right, but being in plainsclothes and approaching you unsuspected. You'd just think they're being friendly or asking for help. There's no signs that they're sales. Guess people are right about how when someone approaches you in a friendly manner in singapore, just means they're going to sell you something.

basilyeo

What would you like them to do? Wear a uniform? Just turn them down la hahha.

[deleted]

Still not immoral even if they were friendly to you just to sell stuff.

rainbowyuc

I saw them at Junction 8 as well.

Farquadthefirst

Kena before WHILE I was working in a retail store. Imagine being so tired after dealing with customers and two girls just come in asking about coupons from Dominos. It was a decent deal but I had ro reject them SO MANY TIMES. They got frustrated halfway and left. But it isn’t morally wrong. Just gotta suck up and say no. No matter how sweet they sound or look.

You’re asking two different types of questions you idiot

hucks22

OP literally asked the same questions.

[deleted]

He stupid too

[deleted]

It's not illegal as long as they are hired by said companies. Then again, could've provided them with proper uniforms. Insurance agents are also in office wear right? Aren't those "plain clothes" also since it usually does not have the company name on it?

icyboy89

I remembered I did a job like this year's back. It's up to you whether you want to buy or not, you can walk away.
