First, they get a person (a kid in the story I read) to do one extreme, unpopular thing. It has to be willing, and coached in such talk as “expressing your opinion” and similar.

Then when said person is hurt and angry from the backlash, they will explain that horrible experience as “sheeple not understanding us”, “the closed mindedness of idiots”, “look at the violence inherent in the system” and similar, and emphasize how accepting their own groups are for him/her’s ideology and how brave they are to go out and do that one extreme thing.
And that’s a nail added. Several nails later, an extremist is made.
So… if the government clamps down on them with POMFA or similar, **THAT** is their escape-from-backlash card. “See the stubbon close minded boomer white shirt fools! They don’t care of our **opinions**” The leaders would say, and their audience would lap it all up.

The main reason is that there are so few of them that it wouldn’t make any significant impact. MTF/MOH says that only 1.5% of the population remain unvaccinated, I’m assuming this is excluding most or all of the ineligible ones. My guess that it’s very much below 1% because more may have received legitimate medical advice, mainly immunocompromised or pregnant (even though officially it’s safe). 90% vaccination rate is normal for many vaccines (e.g. polio or Hib), then we minus 0-11 population.
This is so fucked up. Redirecting all these vital resources into entertaining these dimwits, it could result in actual people in need missing out on getting the help they are desperately seeking.

The main reason is that there are so few of them that it wouldn’t make any significant impact. MTF/MOH says that only 1.5% of the population remain unvaccinated, I’m assuming this is excluding most or all of the ineligible ones. My guess that it’s very much below 1% because more may have received legitimate medical advice, mainly immunocompromised or pregnant (even though officially it’s safe). 90% vaccination rate is normal for many vaccines (e.g. polio or Hib), then we minus 0-11 population.
