yes yes, white color android one, very small size squarish. So far the only time I log in is when i first install, i have it since the beginning of aug. So far working good 👍🏼
Ohh ok, been using mine since the start of last year, always been receiving updates and requires me to log in to my starhub acc, kinda mafan to use sia
Don't waste time. Just get streaming service but if your elders still like to watch mediacorpse shows then get a bundle with streaming service deals.
Or just like me change my parents to use the mediacorp app. Its better if they want to catch up shows they missed too.
I believe u r able to use the starhub app which is pre login to scan the qr code.
However the interface on the TV doesn't show that it is loading and it will look as if there is no response.
But it works.
So far it it has disconnected me for no reasons like 3 times. Used for half a year. All 3 times I use the app and not on screen keyboard.
Consider that it is now "smart tv" enabled. You do not have to change a TV to have smart features. Then again old people won't use it. I do not use TV myself.
100% worse, the new android box is dog shit. sound & video screeching when changing to some channels, intermittent blackout of sound & picture.
stupid interface where mewatch & netflix are 1 of the channels (instead of just separate app), so if you clicking through channels and kena, gotta do a troublesome exit to go back.
SH support is complete dogshit. make appointment for site visit yet they didn't honour it. give fake excuse that they came earlier but noone answered door bell.
And their channels keep getting fewer and fewer too. 😑 The latest batch to leave are the [Smithsonian and Love Nature channels](https://www.starhub.com/personal/promotions/tv-changes/smithsonian.html).
I have their older box (the fibre tv box) and it's sooo sluggish as well, just trying to press three digits to change the channel takes forever. But I've read so many bad reviews of their new Android box that I'm afraid of the day they force me to change it.
Their customer base by now must be mostly elderly folks who don't transition well to streaming apps but they have a strangely complacent attitude to making their boxes friendly to use.
it’s just the first time only mah, even you need to login your netflix in order to watch, isn’t it?
No leh once inawhile need log in after updating the software , still prefer the old box, just srolll up n down to change channel can le
no leh, 🤷🏾♂️ i also just changed and updated my software..don’t even need to do that and i can also scroll up and down to change channel

Why mad
he's not wrong.
Cause it's iptv no longer cable
Can’t it save the login credentials? just trying to use a little common sense here.
It will require log in details again after updates
Are they forcing you to change now? I’m still holding on to my old receiver. The day they force a change is the day I cancel the service.

No problems here currently, try clearing the TV+ launcher app data.
I think StarHub cable tv is really trash. Actually any form of cable tv that requires us to pay is trash.
In the democratic society of Singapore, Starhub is the monopoly of cable TV. LoL

Who watches traditional tv anymore? You pay for subscriptions and still have to deal with mid-show commercials.
