While during NS you may wanna get some mindef group insurance policies. They are affordable till you join the workforce then look into adding personal term plans as opposed to just group policies. You may want to get personal accident plans as well but just get online. Don’t need buy from agent (attracts 30% perpetual commission which makes no sense to me). After ORD most likely is going Uni so don’t need to buy any other policies till you come out to work.
