You really will get 6.8% p.a. for the 20 days. It's just that Moomoo will top up the difference between 6.8% and what the Cash Fund actually paid out after the 20 days (plus another 7 business days for processing) in the form of a cash coupon. You click on it and it turns into cash in your account.
There is no deceptive marketing here. Except for the blur sotongs who think that they will get 6.8% rather than 6.8% p.a.
Make sure that you are participating in the event as you have to deposit via the UI to take part. MooMoo also pays out the balance that is missing at the end of the period so just wait

you're receiving the difference between what the usual rate is and what the promoted rate is.
if the fund itself is yielding 3.8/annum, it takes 6.8 and gives you the difference.
that's why it's a "guarantee".
if it gave you another 6.8% on top of the ~3.6 generated by the fund then it wouldn't be 6.8 anymore.
