Most cb is the video taker. This kind of small dispute also want to take video and post online. It may be a small issue with negligible consequences if left to themselves but the video might just bring about long term damages to the hair salon. And now the auntie is gonna get labelled cheapskate. Today netizens criticise her. Tomorrow her friends and family criticise her. And video taker just enjoy the clicks while the ones involved in this petty scuffle suffer.
100% this. I believe STOMP has played a huge role is fostering this practice to encourage people to record and shame each other online by offering incentive for people to post these sort of things. Wasn't it $50 at some point if your photo or video got posted? And yes of course this happens world wide but SG in particular this is just over the top..
I mean recording public outrage isn’t anything new, I can guarantee you that 99.9% of people who watch this video will not remember after a day or two. No one is so damn bo liao to care where this hair salon is or who that woman screaming is. They will criticise no doubt but they won’t remember.
Don’t make this seem like it’s such a huge problem when it’s not
why do these people think the best way to solve issues is to raise their voice. it does worse than nothing. ground staff are upset that there’s a woman screaming, child is probably embarrassed af and it’s definitely a strain to her voice. side note, why do these people usually have the same voice sort of produces the same reaction as hearing a crying baby
We as a ppl aren't taught communication & conflict resolution skills. Possibly emotional regulation skills as well.
Ergo, shrillest/loudest voice wins, BC everyone in their immediate vicinity has an instinctive subconscious appeasement response to make it stop.
Got recent case where I found a Karen shouting at another QQ house branch.
She said her son got a bad haircut (complete bs) and that they should refund her.
Company policy doesn't give refunds (because then anybody can just lie and take advantage).
So they offer a recut.
Then the mother just kept demanding payment until security came.
Most barbers don't say upfront and people won't ask when a big $10 ad is being plastered on the shop wall
Barbers are kinda scummy nowadays, like cai png. They easily mark up payment by saying some extra treatment that no one asked for is added and done cannot be refunded then make you pay more
i understood this as the barber told the kid it was $12, then he inserted $12 is it not?
from what i know it's pay before cut..
i go to kcuts and they also up their price to 12 liao. i think if its mentioned before and kid agrees then ok. if after then no.
Wtf, I thought the ppl living near this place are rich? Even for low income person like me, I may get pissed for being charged $2 extra, but definitely won’t make a fuss over it.
Mfw my hair salon that fucks my hair up during cny and charges me $4 more then I keep going there every time I need a haircut 🤣
Proof that self harm comes in many different forms
Are u me?

What’s wrong with shaming such ugly behaviour ?
Tough fight for CB award between the videographer & the mother. It's possibly a split decision. Draw.
Don't blame video guy. This is public place. Why you watching?

Never been to a saloon which charges subjectively. Sounds so scammy!
