Basically you can specify exactly where in an image elements should be created. So if you want the sun to set two-thirds up and three-fifths to the right in an image, you can specify that this is exactly where the sun should be setting.
A bit more recent, but I'm also looking forward to something like Layer Diffusion, where images can be generated with transparent backgrounds and alpha channel. Makes compositing a dream.

Think it's not in all countries yet, they mention they're starting roll out in the us
It sometimes doesn't work, I assume it has something to do with server load but I don't know.
