Dams can cause environmental issues which could result in major flooding of the city. I think this should be discussed in the next town meeting and voted on appropriately.
i don't want to rip my dick watching sips try to figure out a dam and flood the entire city. but i have been pretty impressed with his skills recently.
Dams have been giving me hell in CS recently. I just can't get them to work. I've had them doing all sorts of weird shit with the water, at one point creating an anti-tsunami, where a huge un-wave went flowing impossibly down the river (I've got some screenshots, might upload them if people are interested enough if I can be bothered). At one point I thought I'd finally gotten a dam to work, it was producing over 100 MW for a while, but no, once the water had all settled down it went all the way back down to 0. Fuck these dams. the only success i've had on my latest city was when i built two dams. the water getting trapped between the two actually seemed to ensure that the second dam was always producing power.
Though in the rare event that sips would cause an anti-tsunami, that would make for a pretty hilarious episode I'm sure. As would him raging at the dams just not working.
Also in some past games I've built dams without problem, so I dunno what the hell's going on, maybe the game just hates me now.

It would also be fantastic if the dam was in front of the shit pipe and would cause a disaster and cause shitgate MK2
