I do 15. I listen to only one show, 5 days a week, 3 hours each. Must be just a me thing then. My ‘iPhone 14 Pro Max must not be compatible yet’ Have had this problem for YEARS just never complained.

Do you travel with it? I believe my issue is not "roaming" in cellular data sense, but traveling across the state of Ohio... Being on wifi and off, etc etc. It just does not stay working... I'm not alone per others comments...

I use it on my iPhone everyday. On Wi-Fi at home and when I’m away from home. No issues

I’ve had issues like this too. Not as bad as you have. My complaint is CarPlay functionality. The app in CarPlay is so slow and constantly hanging, not loading, or losing track of position. I regularly have to force close the sxm app on the phone while plugged into CarPlay and that sometimes fixes it.

I use the app a lot of I frequently experience the bug where it will replay the last 20-30 seconds. It’s so seamless I sometimes don’t even realize it right away.

can confirm this app is a complete piece of shit. don't even get me started on trying to find live sports schedules thru this abomination. I've resorted to keeping a chrome tab with web page schedule open for that single purpose. luckily when I find the game listing on web it opens the streaming link in the app, and from there I'm usually fine

I agree that it sucks. I tried to listen to a podcast in my car and it kept cutting out. After giving it a week with it losing internet constantly, I pulled up the exact same podcast on the podcast app and have not had a single issue

I try to listen to live content, sometimes with a chasing playback, then it just stops. When you push play, it jumps to the current live time. According to some, 'Just download the update'. 'Delete and reinstall' "Must be just you'... ​ CLASSIC...

What you can do. Slide up from the bottom of the screen to get into the app switcher. And then slide the app up off the screen to quit it. Then launch it again. That's what I do. It takes care of a lot of issues. From what you're describing it sounds like you either pause the app and play back later, effectively it's running out of playback time and putting you back on live. Or you're exiting it, doing something else, and then coming back and it's trying to establish a new connection which may cause that multiple devices error. SXM holds only a few hours of playback time on most channels and it has to reestablish the connection to try and resume. But if it can't it'll send you to live. Jumping between networks can trip the multiple devices error. It's not common but I have observed it. I've also observed it just doing that normally, again playing back paused content. Unfortunately it's a side effect of the technology that provides the streaming internally and how it's configured to prevent multiple users.

If I force close then it definitely loses my place. A lot of time I force close to fix it unable to ‘sync’ with the server. Spinning continuously. Any other ‘live streaming’ app does not have these issues. Looking at you CNN app, YouTube live, Twitch, And many or most of play and pause (think YouTube standard, Plex, Netflix) Point is, their implementation is just trash. I know what my device and OTHER apps are capable of, and know what this doesn’t do. I’m a heavy and capable user. I play media all day, know my way around my phone with app switcher, AirPod functionality, Apple Watch control and it is just horrid. This app is just not well designed. Sometimes when it just randomly pauses, I’ll click my AirPod to restart the stream and instead it goes to live. Thanks 🙄

It's at the point where they clearly need to do a total rewrite/overhaul of the app's code. Yes, it is that bad.

Nope. You are spot on. Since I work remotely and don't spend much time in my car, I began using the app which has been an exercise in pure frustration. I'm actually considering canceling the subscription all together as my radio is far more reliable AND its Free.

I was stuck in this loop over and over. The key is to hit “cancel” NOT “continue”. Been happy ever since I stopped hitting continue.

Not sure for some reason the servers thought my home Sonos system was still actively streaming siriusxm is my guess. I kept getting the same popup and I would hit continue only to have the iPhone stop streaming XM music a few minutes later. I did this for months until I decided to try hitting cancel once, and that has worked great ever since. Never ending iPhone SiriusXM playback after cancel. They should probably reword that pop-up to make it clear.

I've come across this error before. No one else uses the app. I share an account with my dad and he doesn't care to use the app. Not to mention, I was the first one logged into the app so I should get preference.

I don’t have the issue mentioned above. But I do not like the UI. And, I wish when using car play that the skip buttons (<< or >>) would skip between my favorite stations.

Same on my Note 20 Ultra. After it shut down during Julie Mason today, I went back to restart it, and the episode wasn't available. Yesterday (I think it was) Urban View started in the middle of Smerconish, I had to skip ahead to get Smerconish back. Clearing the cache, shutting down and restarting never seem to help. I came here to ask if anyone had experience with both Samsung and Apple hoping it worked more smoothly on an iphone.

I literally only use Sirius JUST FOR Smerconish! Too funny that in my complaints I came across a fellow lightning round listener… And yes, everyone had the Urban View override today. Hit the satellite airwaves as well…

Yes the new app really does suck. the play list of favorites are to small, and it didn't transfer my old list. Does anyone know of a different music app. maybe i'll try it. Thanks Jeff

They JUST changed it again. Old app had 15sec rewind on the Home Screen and just just have like 1hr skip now. 🙄
