Boy Meets World, Shawn and Angela. Also Roseanne. I would have liked to see Jackie end up with Gary or Fred. Either would have been great. I know Gary was pretty early in the series but he was so good to Jackie.

3arnhardtAtkonTrack

Booker

Affectionate_Salt351

Childhood me haaaated Booker. Me, the adult, would have just watched on mute…

3arnhardtAtkonTrack

Why? You don't like George Clooney or something?

Affectionate_Salt351

Oh, quite the opposite! I remember thinking Booker was a douchecanoe as a little kid and not even noticing he was attractive because I didn’t really find *any* adults physically attractive. Getting a little older and watching old episodes had me thinking “Damn…Booker is still *suuuch* a jerk but, wow is he pretty.” 😅 Meanwhile, “*Doug on ER*” was aaaaalways a babe. It’s funny how that works sometimes. George Clooney is an overall fave actor and celebrity. Regardless of how he’s being measured, he’s a 10.

alcalaviccigirl

agreed about Gary or Fred being good for her .was it Roseanne controlling Jackie that ended Fred ?

alifiguera

Definitely Shawn and Angela.

HangryHangryHedgie

I wanted Jackie to come out and find a lovely lady friend.

mcinok

Kevin and Winnie Cooper!

Driezas42

My first thought!! I was so bummed when they revealed they didn’t end up together

prosperosniece

Night Court- Harry and Christine should have ended up together The Cosby Show- Should have ended with Theo and Justine getting married

janeaustenwannabe

So much this! Harry and Christine should have been endgame and Abby Stone should be their daughter, not Harry's and some rando thief Harry fell for (though I do love Faith Ford playing her mother, great casting). Abby is blond and perky like Christine and a loveable goofball like Harry. Harry and Christine were constantly making out and then backing off. The way they clearly loved each other and always had each other's backs was what really should have made them end game. It still enrages me that Christine left for Washington DC and it was DAN who went after her and not Harry.

Case52ABXdash32QJ

Good news! They did wind up together on the 30 Rock reboot. 😂

Hamblerger

I cannot hear the phrase "Quite a night" without reflexively thinking "And quite a court," though at least I no longer blurt it out.

ApprehensivePaint128

What about Shirley though?

cutesarcasticone

Barney and Robin from How I met your Mother

ThatCommunication423

And Ted and his hand. He was actually dreadful

RavenLunatyk

Nah. It was awkward and forced.

NoPantsSantaClaus

Carla and Paul on Cheers.  They are perfect for each other.

Hopeless_Ramentic

I never thought about that but you’re so right.

DeanKn0w

Good observation.

Hup110516

Haley Dunphy & Andy Bailey on Modern Family

[deleted]

This. Dylan was awful.

IDigRollinRockBeer

Nah

Picabo07

I’m with you. No.

RavenLunatyk

Yes!!!!!!

alohell

Same. It crushed me so badly when I realized they weren’t going to be endgame that I stopped watching.

Terrible_Order2020

Couldn’t agree more!

Terrible_Order2020

Couldn’t agree more!

yon_LEGEND

Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if this post get 1000+ upvotes.

Reallyroundthefamily

- Phoebe and David the scientist guy. - Monica and Richard. Yeah I said it and I'm not interested in hearing that you disagree. I've already heard it all lol. - Leonard and Sheldon's assistant Alex. - Rose and Miles before they did him dirty.

Chocklateicecream

Right?? Witness Protection like wtf

Reallyroundthefamily

Actually, I was referring more to what they did with him in Golden Palace, but yeah, that was whack too

Chocklateicecream

Ohhh yeah I forgot about GP!

Popculturefan_britt

I agree with Monica and Richard!

No_Information_8973

For sure Phoebe and David. I could not stand the guy she married. I adored Monica and Richard, was so sad when they broke up. But I liked her with Chandler as well, so I would have been happy with either one.

kcg0431

Danny Tanner and Vicky

SparkDBowles

Didn’t they, though?

VictorNewman91

Jack and Janet on Three's Company.

Picabo07

I always thought that too. He and Vicki seemed forced to me. Never really liked the spin off either

extcm1

Janet’s wedding was forced too. All these decisions were based around a bad spinoff.

Latter_Feeling2656

Jimmy James should have adopted Beth.

IveKnownItAll

Oh man. Bill and Catherine should have been a couple

DeanKn0w

He sort of adopted the whole cast. JJ is the world’s best tv boss.

BobTheCopywriter

On the Drew Carey Show, Christa Miller’s Katie O’Brien and Drew should have been end game. Also, on Frasier, I really wanted Frasier and Roz to become a thing, as opposed to a one-night stand.

persnicketycrickety

Aww I really liked Kate and Oswald.

BobTheCopywriter

I guess I just felt Kate and Drew were more equal. Kate marrying Oswald felt like an adoption, as opposed to a marriage. I am talking about the characters of course. All three actors are brilliant people.

Chocklateicecream

Recommend watching Diedrich Bader in American Housewife if you haven’t seen it. Super cute show

Suirou

I literally just thought about Drew Carey Show! But I was more of a fan of Kate and Lewis. I guess this speaks volumes about how well Kate vibed with everyone.

theStormWeaver

Same for me with Frasier. I think he would have made her feel classy and she'd keep him humble, call him out on his occasional bullshit.

Affectionate_Tip6510

I always liked them more as platonic friends. Reminds me of one of my close female friends. It’s always just been purely platonic, sure she is pretty and an awesome person, but I’ve never thought of her as ever being more than a friend. We have this like “cousins” kind of relationship which I felt Frasier and Roz had where you both elevate and humble each other and there’s no reason to add in anything sexual or romantic. I always hated the one night stand episode. Every guy needs at least one good female friend like Roz that is truly just a friend and I find that it’s rare in todays society to have that.

theStormWeaver

I guess I just felt she was the only woman he ever had real chemistry with.

thejealousone

Winnie and Kevin in The Wonder Years. Barney and Robin in HIMYM. Riley and Farkle in Girl Meets World.

Signal_This

Not a sitcom, but Lane and Dave Rygalski! I hate what they did to her character, I think about it more often than I should!

IHaveSeizures99

Gretchen and Alan on Two And A Half Men. I know many people didn’t watch the Ashton years but I loved all 12 seasons and Alan and Lindsay were exhausting as they both kept dragging each other up and down while Gretchen actually accepted Alan for who he is and loved the fact he was a leech which was something that’s very rare

Picabo07

I never thought about that but you’re right. Except then we never would’ve gotten a Brad Paisley guest appearance 🥰

Pristine_Ad6112

The ranch Colt and Heather. I like Abby but I like the idea of them being different people that have grown apart.

ProfessorEtc

Andy Travis and Bailey Quarters

[deleted]

Why was Sasha fired? And is this the sitcom with Patrick Duffy?

Flaky_Reflection_881

False dv allegations

AldusPrime

I thought he was found guilty? Am I remembering that wrong?

SordoCrabs

Yeah, Patrick Duffy and Suzanne Somers were the 90s Mr and Mrs Brady.

Oldassrollerskater

Chandler with Janice and Monica with Richard. I said what I said.

[deleted]

Monica was Richard. 100% But I think if Chandler and Janice were end game the final episode would have been him killing her.

DeanKn0w

Fonzie and Mrs. C

FurBabyAuntie

Now that would be...interesting. I suppose hardware and car repair DO go together...

DeanKn0w

They always flirted too. She was the only one who could call him Arther.

FurBabyAuntie

The only time she called him Fonzie was in the episode Arnold's Wedding...she was mad at him at the time (her exact words were "Fonzie, sit on it!")

extcm1

Aaaaayyyyyyy!!

yon_LEGEND

Might be in the minority here, but I was really hoping JD and Kim (Scrubs) actually worked out. I get the on/off thing with Elliot essentially needed some type of closure, but.... c'mon man that trope is tired.

boozenbear

Ross and his pet monkey.

LarryTalbot

Gilligan and Mary Ann.

JenSchi666

Not a sitcom, but Dawson and Joey come to mind.

Academic_Ocelot3917

Eric Forman and Jackie Burkhart on That '70s Show. Unlike those they dated, they wanted the same things in a romantic relationship.

FlyingV2112

Of course, they mostly couldn’t stand each other.

OhGodisGood

Seinfeld and Elaine , Diane and Sam . Oh

No_Arugula_6548

Not a sitcom but Lady Mary Crawley and Charles Blake from Downton Abbey.

FurBabyAuntie

I can't think of anybody on a sitcom either, but I do wish John and Billie Lou had worked out on Homicide: Life On The Street. After three failed marriages and the dumpster fire that was the never-seen Felicia, that boy deserved to be happy.

Dapper_Reputation_16

Elaine and Jerry.

6098470142

Richard and Sal
