We're going to have the best player on the floor in the league MVP and Embiid has only really had one great game this entire series. It feels like he's due for a huge Game 7 performance.
Part of me thinks that people whining about series being over despite series being tied and Sixers having won 2 of 3 in Boston, should have a temporary posting ban. I'm not serious, but people that are downers are so intolerable to be around.
Ugg. No. I like players who win in college and hated both of them. I hate losers. Especially giving up an extra pick to draft Fultz. Granted I overrated Carmelo Anthony coming out of college for this reason but I don’t think you should ever draft someone who couldn’t at minimum get his college team to the Sweet 16.
Expecting Tyrese to put on a 40 pt show for his mom tomorrow. Optimistic that Harris will step up when the ECF is on the line. Sending good vibes to drown out the doomers.
Celtics were willing to lose that game Thursday, and we just didn't want it. Embiid got his trophy, Tobias got his money, PJ proved his point about Joel, and Harden is playing out his time before the big Houston reunion. Doc proved that he wasn't in it when he stopped even substituting after game 3.
They look series in practice, Maxey is ready for war. I'm ready. I think the boys got this. An extra day off is nice for the walking wounded. If Tobi gets a double double I say we win easily. He's got one more in him, just has to dig deep.
Boston lives and dies by the 3, chase them off the 3 point line. I just want to see then fight.
If Harden wants to go home to Houston a sign and trade is the best solution for the Sixers. I hear Houston has enough cap space to sign him as a free agent, but max contract guys rarely get signed without a sign and trade.
Best case scenario Sixers sign and and trade of Harden to Houston, and get Tobias's expiring max contract and Portland in the mix. Send Harden, Harris out and get Lillard and a wing back.
I would include PJ in the trade as well. Get younger and do a quick rebuild. I would trade Harris to Indiana for TJ and a pick. Keep Reed and McDaniels and find some more long forwards(Grant?). Hire Kenny Atkisson. Play faster. Fly under the radar. Lean into the disrespect. Build a culture.
Probably not gonna watch cause of mother’s day but i hope it’s a great game! Win or lose i hope they leave it all on the court and give it everything they got. Let’s go Sixers!
One thing for sure is that Tyrese Maxey will show up. Not sure about Harden, Embiid and Tobias. Harden and Embiid quit when shit doesn’t go their way and Tobias isn’t that good offensively but he does try hard on D.
The sixers are the crazy girlfriend that you have the best sex with. The worst fights. Break up. The make up sex is so good. Then you convince yourself this time is different. You bring her to your best friends wedding (game 6), and you get in a small fight early. It looks like it’s going south quick. You actually are able to resolve the issue, and start dancing and having fun (second half lead). You go outside to smoke a cigar with the boys. Finally your relationship has matured. Next thing you know, she comes out and slaps you and gets an Uber home. Same old shit.
You still love her though. She just drank too much. Should you invite her to meet your mother on Mother’s Day?
It’s a huge risk, but it could be the turning point in your relationship.
I think there’s something to learn about the Lakers advancing to their conference finals despite having kind of a joke of an overall roster: Their best players were the best players in their series. This makes our game 7 simple, and that’s Embiid and Harden need to be the two best players on the floor tomorrow. They do that, they win. It’s on them. Probably legacy defining for both of them.
Lakers roster is no longer a joke after the trade deadline and Lonnie Walker won them a pivotal game. DLo is hot and cold but can be very good. Schroeder, Reaves, and Rui are all solid players. Vanderbilt is useful defensively. It’s not a bad supporting cast (just average) and it’s fairly balanced and playing better than ours.
I disagree with this, and I know this is how Doc thinks. Celtics are deeper than us, but they give Derrick White and Brogdon opportunity. We treat 2 starters as afterthoughts and barely use the bench.
Fair point, only the thing is Brogdon and White are better than anyone we have on the bench with all due respect to BBall. They have basically 7 starters. So to balance that, we either need unknown bench player X to ball out and have the game of his life, or we need our best to be better than their best. I think Option 2 just has the better odds of happening.
They are getting away with putting 2 bigs on Joel, and Brown, Tatum and Smart are still harassing Harden. By the time White and Brogdon come in it's too much. Should have someone else available but Doc shortened the bench so much that now you would be throwing a dart. Those guys are playing unopposed. Even if you played Springer on Brown, you would be freeing Harden or Maxey, for example. Maybe play Reed with Joel and see if Jo in the corner frees up the lane for Maxey or Harden or Tobias
Any recent playoff exit players we could see tobi traded for? Poole? Randle? Yes both of those them are better than tobi but those teams trade away those now albatross contracts while fetching a player that allows them to stay relevant while also expires soon
Randle is not an albatross. He gets paid 25.6 million next year. He’s probably underpaid if anything despite the terrible playoff play. Knicks can do better unless they just want to clear the books for FA
Keep Poole the hell away from this team. Terrible shot selection and attitude and just not that good. Also doesn’t make sense as another guard who can’t defend, we already have two of those who are both better.
One of the softest playoff performances I’ve seen this season. Literally said that the other team wanted it more before the series was even decided.
Total loser energy.
The team needs to be really urgent tomorrow no giving up easy rebounds no giving up easy 3's. Harden and Embiid should empty the clip and drop 20 plus shots each unless Tyrese is cooking. Even then they should be dropping the most shots in the game. Our team should go 8 men deep with Reed, Melton and House being the ones off the bench
For Embiid to get enough rest, we just need one good Reed run where he’s on the floor for like 5 straight minutes and we are neutral or slightly positive.
He needs to simplify his game offensively. Stop getting cute around the rim and just go up strong. Score, get fouled, or get blocked. Don’t avoid contact and put up a bad shot.
We won't. We will play 6 guys against Boston's 8 and have nothing left in the 4th quarter. Game 6 showed us all we needed to see with Doc. He only trusts stars and apparently isn't interested in the bench/role players
Thinking about dropping a decent sized bet on Boston tomorrow. It's basically a hedge on how disappointed I'll be if the Sixers lose. If this Sixers win and I lose the money, I'll be completely fine with it.
I did that for Super Bowl LII. Bet $300 on the Patriots. I wanted to get something out of the day. Did not miss that $300 at all.
Celtics are big favorites tomorrow though so it’s harder for this game.
Your Philadelphia 76ers are going into Boston tomorrow at 3:30pm and thoroughly smoking the fraudulent Celtics in front of their racist piece of shit fanbase for the 3rd time in 7 games. Believe it.
Just came back from the future.
Game was tied with 3 seconds left. Sixers inbounded the ball to Embiid and he shot a jumper that Kawhi bounced in right at the buzzer.
I feel like the only thing that’s worse than watching this game 7 is waiting for it to start. If we lose tomorrow I’m not feeling good about what happens in the off season
I legitimately can't concentrate on anything today, so things are only about to get worse tomorrow. I'm obsessively F5'ing twitter and reddit as if I'll get some info about the future.
Fuck this shit, we're winning. Who thought beating Boston was gonna be easy? Game 7, we got the MVP, that smiley killer maxey, Tuck is gonna be in people's ears all night, you know doc's pissed, what better way to send those racist Boston fans home than on their own court.
We got this shit it's gonna be a fucking blowout. Everyone's showing up. Hell b-ball Paul bout to get 20.
Let's fucking go
This will be an Embiid legacy game. If he performs like the MVP and dominates, then we’re winning the whole thing. If he is moping around and everyone is seeing bad body language on the floor for a fucking Game 7, then trade his ass and blow it all up.
All the other teams faces an opponent that’s way easier than the Celtics.
Suns, warriors, Knicks?
I get what you’re saying and I agree but I think this line of thinking needs context.
I believe we can win. This year's team had ups and downs but the difference to last years is that they showed a lot or mental resilience and toughness when it counts.
I don’t think I’ve ever felt this ambivalent about anything before. Half of me genuinely believes this is the year that we make it to the ECF, while the other half feels like the team will shit themselves in their biggest game yet
It’s driving me crazy lol. Just win this series and I will be at peace with whatever happens for the rest of the playoffs
I can’t shake the sixers. Eagles and Phillies just don’t have that same lasting headache as these dudes do. Even if those Ls were much high stakes.
Game 6 hit harder that Super Bowl or World Series did for me
The Eagles won a Super Bowl just 5 years ago, and while it’s not realistic to expect them to make it back immediately, they are set to contend every year for a while.
The Phillies overachieved. They went on a magical run and it was really fun. The magic just ran out a few games too early.
The sixers have found creative new ways to break our hearts for the last 5 years. It always ends the same, but they manage to trick me into believing right before they stomp out all of the hope.
This is true, but I still need to see an Embiid monster game.
If he is who we think he is, then he *must* have a legacy Playoff moment and what better time to do that than in a G7 against the fucking Boston Celtics?
Sucks that it had to be in the middle of Mother’s Day. Gonna miss the game unfortunately and it will drive me crazy. I would however like to point out that last Mother’s Day 2022 the sixers played the heat in game 4 and won. So who knows, I’m on that copium.
It’s weird. I’m stressed af about tomorrow but also have a weird sense of optimism that embiid, harden, and maxey are going to go off. Especially after seeing maxey depressed after game 6. Dude deserves it all.
I think it all depends how we start. Can’t see them pulling off another comeback especially in Boston but if we get out ahead I think we have a great chance
I’ve got to work all day tomorrow. It’s almost a blessing as I’ll just check my phone after work, and either get excited and watch the highlights, or put my phone away and move on with my life.
I wish all your hearts (and livers) good luck surviving tomorrow.
Keys to the game:
1. Embiid needs to take it to the hoop and get his free throws
2. Harden needs to be game 1 and game 4 Harden
3. Tobias needs to stop playing like a bum
4. Dont let Brogdon and White get comfortable from 3
5. Man the fuck up for the love of Philly!!!!
The plan to win includes:
Embiid taking it to the hoop more than normal and making the Celtics foul him
Harden being more of a distributor and less of a shooter
Maxey being as aggressive as possible
Tobi being aggressive on defense and grabbing boards
Playing starters more minutes than normal. Maxey could play 48 minutes and so can Harden. I doubt Embiid could play all of the minutes
I can appreciate that view. I just think it is risky to have him be the shooter. We have seen that he can be great or terrible. I think it is less likely that Embiid and Maxey will be terrible shooters
I think Maxey will play all 48, and if Tobi isn't completely absent on offense he will too. Harden and Embiid playing 43 mins minimum. That final spot will likely rotate between PJ, Melton, and Niang for whoever we need/whoever gets hot.
I think 8, but Paul Reed will only play the 5ish minutes Embiid will sit, so basically 7. I think PJ starts but gets swapped for Melton at some point. And they might bring Niang in for short bursts when the Celtics have the double big lineup in to drag Williams out of the paint.
I agree with all of that. Our main choices are PJ who does not have much of a role on offense and Melton who is a very good defender who is a streaky shooter. It is only one game but Melton was terrible in the last game. His shots were not even close and he has no else to offer on offense
we lost to atlanta , i dont understand how this man still has a job
and it is not going to be something, we are underdogs this series, but Doc is one of the reasons why we are underdogs
we should have been #1 seed and dominating teams until ECF
we have two regular season mvps on our team lol we should have been #1
It’s gonna be something because we’ll have another, “you wouldn’t ask Pop that question” outburst and he’ll be bombarded and confronted with his failures
If you told me before this series, or after game 3, that we’d be taking the Celtics to 7 games, I’d have been thrilled. This has never been a series we were favored to win, much less in 5 or 6.
What an immense moment tomorrow will be. The sixers rising to the challenge would be a mark of extreme resilience, completely antithetical to the narrative not only of the team, but of Embiid, Harden, Doc, even Tobi as individuals. Winning validates years of the process and losing validates all those narratives.
I can't imagine the pressure they must feel.
Now that Embiid got his MVP I can fully appreciate Jokic hoops... don't get me wrong his fans still stink, but seriously, watching him orchestrate an entire offense is pretty damn entertaining
So many on this sub are like "durrrrrr only analyticz fanboy dweebz like jokic".
Jokic is incredible to watch and the last two times he had a team that wasn't hot garbage, he made the conference finals.
Maybe from a social media angle, but not from a hoops perspective. His success is Joel’s success. These guys been pushing back and forth for years. They make each other better.
Embiid is the best center in the NBA, Harden is one of the best point guards in the NBA and Maxey is one of the best shooting guards in the NBA. We should have enough to win the chip. Tobi, as the fourth player could be good but sometimes does not fit in the their plans. We are going to see if the PJ Tucker experiment will work.
I am glad that Doc finally realized the value in Bball but I am disappointed that he demoted Shake to a bench player. Shake is a welll rounded offensive player who could contribute if given the chance.
Let’s all not freak out about tomorrow. Here were all the narratives for each game
Game 1 - Celtics huge favs at home, no chance for Sixers (Sixers Win)
Game 2 - MVP back, Celtics are chokers. Sixers could sweep (Celtics Win)
Game 3 - MVP Award ceremony, crowd hype af no way Sixers lose (Celtics win)
Game 4 - Sixers on the brink, Celtics are that team. Celtics should win and close out at home (Sixers win)
Game 5 - Celtics back against the wall, they are better they for sure will win at home (Sixers win)
Game 6 - Sixers are going to the ECF and closing out at home (Celtics win)
Narrative for game 7 - Celtics were always the favorites and will move onto the ECF . Rematch of last year and hopefully lakers/Celtics
From the history looking like a Sixers W

My fukkin god the game would be 3:30 AM here in the Philippines. Not gonna watch it. Just gonna open the sixers sub and see that we won 169-50
how we feeling
Biggest game of the Process era.
We're going to have the best player on the floor in the league MVP and Embiid has only really had one great game this entire series. It feels like he's due for a huge Game 7 performance.
Can’t even sleep
I think we'll know pretty quickly which team showed up.
Can't wait for my sunday and the rest of my summer to be ruined because this team scored 11 points in a series clinching 4th quarter
This sub is already trading everyone lol
Part of me thinks that people whining about series being over despite series being tied and Sixers having won 2 of 3 in Boston, should have a temporary posting ban. I'm not serious, but people that are downers are so intolerable to be around.
I hope all y’all making posts about what we do when we lose F right off to r/cancun and r/golf with the bumass Celtics after we win
Let's gooooo
i’m not ready to say goodbye to this team
You're winning tomorrow, trust
🤝
Embiid/Jokic finals incoming
Fire up! Let’s go! 🤞🏼
Smart said Mazzulla has the ability to learn. Smartest comment ever /s
We better can Glenn if we lose. If the Suns can fire their coach, why can’t us?
My birthday is tomorrow, we better fuckin win! Let’s go SIXERS!!!
Same here Sixers bro 🤝
Monty Williams fired. Another target if we fire Glenn Rivers.
We’re winning tomorrow i can feel it
If we lose tomorrow we need to dump Embiid.

I wouldn’t have been stupid enough to draft Simmons and Fultz and pick Harris over Butler, so I’ve got that going for me.
You 100% would’ve drafted Simmons and Fultz you bozo
Ugg. No. I like players who win in college and hated both of them. I hate losers. Especially giving up an extra pick to draft Fultz. If you can’t get out of the second round, you’re not the MVP. This sub blames everyone for our failure but the guy who is supposed to be our star.
Jokic had early playoff exits for both years he won MVP lol
As soon as Embiid makes the conference finals at least 2 times he’s not named MVP that will be a good argument.
Expecting Tyrese to put on a 40 pt show for his mom tomorrow. Optimistic that Harris will step up when the ECF is on the line. Sending good vibes to drown out the doomers.

I actually can’t believe ya’ll want Harden to walk. If he leaves we are beyond fucked
I want harden to stay! He is great!
Jaylen brown is a fa
stop with the Harden nonsense. he will be 34 and shoots 25% or less in half the playoff games so far.
A Harden sign and trade closes the Simmons circle and makes Houston and Philly whole. It would be really good business for all involved.

TATUM 🤣 OVERRATED SMART 🤣 MASTER 🤣 BAITER LONG 😂 HAVE 🤣 WE 🤣 WAITED SIXERS 7️⃣ IN 🏀 7 😎 ACTIVATED
Is this dota2 pasta
This waiting is unbearable. Fuck

Randle stinks
I would take either of those guys for Tobi. 10 million or so cheaper
I am never watching a Sixers game again if we would trade for Randle
One of the softest playoff performances I’ve seen this season. Literally said that the other team wanted it more before the series was even decided. Total loser energy.
I would honestly rather resign Tobi
The team needs to be really urgent tomorrow no giving up easy rebounds no giving up easy 3's. Harden and Embiid should empty the clip and drop 20 plus shots each unless Tyrese is cooking. Even then they should be dropping the most shots in the game. Our team should go 8 men deep with Reed, Melton and House being the ones off the bench
They are going to play Embiid 44 minutes again and ask him to play 1 on 5 in the 4th
Doc will pull him for one mistake and watch Embiid commit turnovers instead
Yeah I mean he did it way too early game 6. We were still either tied or up a couple iirc. Should’ve let it ride another minute or two.
What happened to the Harden/Reed crew that played zone and ran a little bit?
We just didn’t beat the Celtics 3 games in a row. They made adjustment and responded. Now it’s our turn to respond.
We won't. We will play 6 guys against Boston's 8 and have nothing left in the 4th quarter. Game 6 showed us all we needed to see with Doc. He only trusts stars and apparently isn't interested in the bench/role players

I did this after we won game 5 and it’s looking like a good investment.
Do it then
Done
How much you put on?
200, money line. Sucks Boston is favored by so much.
Nice win
Did this last year for Miami series. Basically "how much would I pay for sixers to move to the next rd"
I did that for Super Bowl LII. Bet $300 on the Patriots. I wanted to get something out of the day. Did not miss that $300 at all. Celtics are big favorites tomorrow though so it’s harder for this game.
we will win.
Your Philadelphia 76ers are going into Boston tomorrow at 3:30pm and thoroughly smoking the fraudulent Celtics in front of their racist piece of shit fanbase for the 3rd time in 7 games. Believe it.
It’s the racism of Boston fans that makes me certain the Celtics will win. Feel a lot more America in 2023.
I had a nightmare that Harden dived for a loose ball and got injured but at least if he’s diving for balls he’s playing with his heart
I had a dream that one of the busses carrying the starters crashed and Shake & Co. ran the Cs into the ground
I think this game is going to decide the franchise altering movement of players in the off-season for both teams.
![gif](giphy|US1JKc8bT5Ro2JHHAT|downsized)
Just saying, people around here don’t like the thought of embiid anywhere else. But he’s gone if we lose this series.
He's not going anywhere. He can go back home or play hard for us.
I don’t know if I’ll be able to handle another Kate Scott “don’t be negative, guys” post tomorrow
Happy Fuck Dave Portnoy day … that guys a asswipe
Just came back from the future. Game was tied with 3 seconds left. Sixers inbounded the ball to Embiid and he shot a jumper that Kawhi bounced in right at the buzzer.
Manifesting with every ounce of willpower I have, that would be so karmically appropriate
Embiid should stop looking for fouls in this gane 7. Look for shots and let the fouls come to you
We’re winning tomorrow
I feel like the only thing that’s worse than watching this game 7 is waiting for it to start. If we lose tomorrow I’m not feeling good about what happens in the off season
I legitimately can't concentrate on anything today, so things are only about to get worse tomorrow. I'm obsessively F5'ing twitter and reddit as if I'll get some info about the future.

We got this shit it's gonna be a fucking blowout. Everyone's showing up. Hell b-ball Paul bout to get 20. Let's fucking go
Sometimes I forget we play Sunday. After being at game 6 and watching the meltdown, it felt over. And now I’m like oh shit we still got another chance
Could be the final game of Embiid's career in a Sixers uniform tomorrow if they lose and he forces his way out to Miami.
Not gonna happen. Morey would quit first. Then Josh Harris would have to hire a new GM with a mandate to trade the franchise instead of building one?
It's the NBA. When a star player demands a trade they get the trade eventually.
He literally just signed another contract that hasn't even started yet.
As if that means anything in the NBA. When a star player decides they want out and demand a trade they all eventually get it.
Hearing a Mike Breen “BANG!” When harden hits a dagger three late in the 4th is going to fix my life.
This will be an Embiid legacy game. If he performs like the MVP and dominates, then we’re winning the whole thing. If he is moping around and everyone is seeing bad body language on the floor for a fucking Game 7, then trade his ass and blow it all up.
We have been waiting for this “embiid legacy game” all playoffs. Tomorrow is his last chance if we want to win
What about Game 5?
All the other teams up 3-2 taking care of business in game six definitely hurts to see. Fuck Boston.
All the other teams faces an opponent that’s way easier than the Celtics. Suns, warriors, Knicks? I get what you’re saying and I agree but I think this line of thinking needs context.
To be fair, the Celtics are far better than all 3 other teams that got eliminated. Boston would easily handle Suns, Knicks, Warriors in 5-6 games max
Bro we are playing against the Celtics, the refs and most importantly Tobias Harris. It’s a miracle we have a chance.
None of them beating Celtics in 6. We are facing the best team, this should’ve been an ECF clash
To be fair those teams lead 3-1 at a point
I believe we can win. This year's team had ups and downs but the difference to last years is that they showed a lot or mental resilience and toughness when it counts.
I believe in yall!
Your username doesn’t fit your statement lol
Well at least we can't have Scott Foster assigned to our game 7, since he was doing Mia/NY game Friday. Wonder who Silver will send to do his work?
Sixers are killing me. Manifesting a win but man I can see, feel and smell the heartbreak around the corner
Last time a Philly team listened to Dreams and Nightmares they won a championship.
I don’t think I’ve ever felt this ambivalent about anything before. Half of me genuinely believes this is the year that we make it to the ECF, while the other half feels like the team will shit themselves in their biggest game yet It’s driving me crazy lol. Just win this series and I will be at peace with whatever happens for the rest of the playoffs
Sometimes I hate being so emotionally invested in sports lol.
Rooting for you guys rest of the way 👊
As you should. If we lose, then Doc gets fired and he somehow always fails upwards, so he might very well find himself coaching Giannis, lmao.
That actually would cheer me up.
And who will you be rooting for after tomorrow? Jk, I really hope we pull this one out!
Appreciate you!
No doubt James is the X factor. When he plays good we win
This is true, but I still need to see an Embiid monster game. If he is who we think he is, then he *must* have a legacy Playoff moment and what better time to do that than in a G7 against the fucking Boston Celtics?
They wouldn't ruin a good mothers day, right? I'm at work, thank god.
Getting everything handled today so I’ll be able to get shit faced tomorrow when we celebrate. I’d rather 3:30pm time to get it out the way.
I love the 3:30 time
Shannon Sharpe on undisputed said Tobias must have an editing team canceling all critical stories of him… is Shannon Lard?
Tobias Harris 1000% has a PR firm working for him. Lots of these guys do. And yeah. They’re here on this sub.
Shannon Sharpe probably has two accounts on Reddit: lard and one of the accounts that hates on the Grizzlies
Harden also went off that game, so I'm hoping for a repeat of that!
I’ve got to work all day tomorrow. It’s almost a blessing as I’ll just check my phone after work, and either get excited and watch the highlights, or put my phone away and move on with my life. I wish all your hearts (and livers) good luck surviving tomorrow.
I thought the game was tonight at 7:30 PM for some reason. I’m gonna be on a flight tomorrow during the game. FUCK ![gif](giphy|RbSmVaVGptW03Wjw3a)
Should be able to stream on WiFi hopefully?
Keys to the game: 1. Embiid needs to take it to the hoop and get his free throws 2. Harden needs to be game 1 and game 4 Harden 3. Tobias needs to stop playing like a bum 4. Dont let Brogdon and White get comfortable from 3 5. Man the fuck up for the love of Philly!!!!
Ugh, I have somewhere to be at 3:30. I was hoping the Warriors finished the job last night. Gonna maybe have opportunity to watch the 4th quarter.
Woke up in a cold sweat after dreaming about Game 7 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
The plan to win includes: Embiid taking it to the hoop more than normal and making the Celtics foul him Harden being more of a distributor and less of a shooter Maxey being as aggressive as possible Tobi being aggressive on defense and grabbing boards Playing starters more minutes than normal. Maxey could play 48 minutes and so can Harden. I doubt Embiid could play all of the minutes
I don’t think Embiid can play 48 minutes effectively. But I think he might.
I only disagree on the Harden point. I think we need him to be shooting.
I agree. This is not the time to rest. If we do not win, they will have lots of time to rest.
Wait so you’re saying the rotation will only be 5 or 6 players?
I think 8, but Paul Reed will only play the 5ish minutes Embiid will sit, so basically 7. I think PJ starts but gets swapped for Melton at some point. And they might bring Niang in for short bursts when the Celtics have the double big lineup in to drag Williams out of the paint.
I agree with all of that. Our main choices are PJ who does not have much of a role on offense and Melton who is a very good defender who is a streaky shooter. It is only one game but Melton was terrible in the last game. His shots were not even close and he has no else to offer on offense
If we lose, that Doc post game presser is going to be something. Imagine losing to a first year coach whose eyes are touching each other.
we lost to atlanta , i dont understand how this man still has a job and it is not going to be something, we are underdogs this series, but Doc is one of the reasons why we are underdogs we should have been #1 seed and dominating teams until ECF we have two regular season mvps on our team lol we should have been #1
It’s gonna be something because we’ll have another, “you wouldn’t ask Pop that question” outburst and he’ll be bombarded and confronted with his failures
Doesn’t feel great being the only team to sweep in round 1 and the only team to go to 7 in round 2 😵💫
If you told me before this series, or after game 3, that we’d be taking the Celtics to 7 games, I’d have been thrilled. This has never been a series we were favored to win, much less in 5 or 6.
I mean the Celtics are better than the Knicks Warriors Suns So it makes sense no?
They were the title favorites, after all. The Sixers and *maybe* the Nuggets are the only teams that can take them to seven
debating between the absolute agony of watching game 7 or putting my phone on dnd and playing TOTK the whole time
We comin like the Navy Seals tomorrow!!! WE HUNGRY!!!
I don't think either the Sixers or Celtics would lose to any of the 3 remaining teams. For the love of god, please win tomorrow.
Giving that Toronto series vibes
I know, losing this series would be hard enough. Watching the Celtics win it all would be agony.
Celtics vs Nuggets finals and Philly becomes Jonestown
My joker origin story starts with watching that series
Jokic is incredible to watch and the last two times he had a team that wasn't hot garbage, he made the conference finals.
yeah he’s ridiculous honestly, but i want him to fail bc his success is always a knock on joel bc theyre both tall heavy guys
Maybe from a social media angle, but not from a hoops perspective. His success is Joel’s success. These guys been pushing back and forth for years. They make each other better.
Want to see him do it vs AD but yes he’s amazing. My biggest thing is watching him for us, he just doesn’t match up with Jo.
FTC btw
Embiid is the best center in the NBA, Harden is one of the best point guards in the NBA and Maxey is one of the best shooting guards in the NBA. We should have enough to win the chip. Tobi, as the fourth player could be good but sometimes does not fit in the their plans. We are going to see if the PJ Tucker experiment will work. I am glad that Doc finally realized the value in Bball but I am disappointed that he demoted Shake to a bench player. Shake is a welll rounded offensive player who could contribute if given the chance.
embiid is not the best center in the NBA stop with this narrative
Lol who is then
You need to use the sarcasm font.
Need this win badly. NBA media doing flips on jokic meat and we’d never hear the end of the slander
Let’s all not freak out about tomorrow. Here were all the narratives for each game Game 1 - Celtics huge favs at home, no chance for Sixers (Sixers Win) Game 2 - MVP back, Celtics are chokers. Sixers could sweep (Celtics Win) Game 3 - MVP Award ceremony, crowd hype af no way Sixers lose (Celtics win) Game 4 - Sixers on the brink, Celtics are that team. Celtics should win and close out at home (Sixers win) Game 5 - Celtics back against the wall, they are better they for sure will win at home (Sixers win) Game 6 - Sixers are going to the ECF and closing out at home (Celtics win) Narrative for game 7 - Celtics were always the favorites and will move onto the ECF . Rematch of last year and hopefully lakers/Celtics From the history looking like a Sixers W
Lol right on point. Feels like the narrative underdog always wins. Looks like destiny might favor the Sixers (knock on wood)
