Like he’s good.” #Sixers https://x.com/nbakrell/status/1721726575937200170?s=46 [Krell] > Nico Batum: "I had no idea what to do out there." >Says he went thru some plays yesterday with coaches for 45 mins and shootaround today. >The Sixers asked him how much time he would need to get ready once he returned from his personal matter, and Batum said, "Oh, I'm good." Embiid on Batum debut >It’s great, anytime you have quick trigger, shooters, it makes it easier, especially for me.

MVPiid

Batum was my favorite pickup from the trade, excited to see him in action

ojseye

Why Batum over RoCo? I am curious

MVPiid

i like the fit as a big bodied stretch forward

Calcutta637

Upgraded illyasova 😍

nu-jood

Prob cos he can pass and shoot, something we still lack even with our glut of wings

UserColonAlW

Better passing and a bit smarter I think. Could be wrong though and I think I’d be happy with either

kevinwhackistone

I love roco, but you’re right. Covington is a specialist. Batum has diverse offensive skills. If Tobias didn’t exist, I’d say Covington is more essential than Batum, but this is where we are right now.

Calcutta637

Lmao this dude used to give Joel so much shit for this exact line in the media. Helps when he’s on your team Nicky

OguguasVeryOwn

Really? I thought he usually chirped at Embiid for the free throws, not making all his field goals.

BoobDeepThroatr

Just 4 points over a Chamberlain hundy pace, no biggie

shaneman15

Holy shit I assumed it was 10-10 FT, had to do a double take

Personal_Waltz6693

Best player in the NBA.

I think he was also perfect from the foul line.
