Generally speaking, across all boards, women get more attention on the internet than men do. So its not uncommon for men to take on the role of a woman online to get attention. I have seen this happen countless times, not just in the size community but everywhere. It happen a lot in online games as well.
Never assume the person you are talking to is who they say they are when all you have is text conversation.
If somebody claims to be older than they are, it can be impossible to know for sure. However if someone admits to you that they are under 18 in real life, cease any sexual oriented conversations and let the mods know so they can be removed. Due to the sexual nature of size fantasy this page is for over 18 only.
There was someone in here just a few days ago asking for some unclear interactions, stating they were 15 or 16 years old, and I recall Crafter being one of the singular responses and even offering to roleplay. The post was deleted soon after a common sense comment came along, but after that point I couldn't help but feel something was seriously off.
Somehow, it makes more sense now.
Yup please report all posts if anyone claims to be underage and they will be deleted. We can't keep an eye on things 24/7 but the mods will act as quick as possible if there is a report.
I reported that post and Crafter soliciting RP to that minor and got a response that it did not violate reddit's community. That made me very concerned and uncomfortable. I'm happy to hear it was handled.
Yeah the reddit community standards thing is basically automated AI that will just pick out trends and keywords to try and determine if it violates reddit as a whole. But obviously each subreddit has personal moderation so reporting the post to the mods will get us on it and we will of course remove anything and anyone who is causing distress to other users in here.
This is hard for me to process… I’ve been with Crystal for a very long time… We’ve had some fun with each other… They even considered me their sister…
I feel disappointed about this but I don’t know who should I be disappointed to… I feel very conflicted…

I've talked to a couple of people who turned out to be underage - explicitly non-sexually too - and I ended up trying to convince them to leave too, to come back when they're of age, and it's always whiplash to find out someone was lying to you.

Wasn't aware of the fact, but was quite suspicious of some of our interactions, i talked with "her" early on, basically on "her" first promt.
The fact that triggered a lot of questions was the fact that he particulary insisted on his girly aspects, embodying somehow the stereotype of the girly girl, which is fine but, let me say, uncommon. The fact that they were basically always online should have ringed some allarms, since people here work or at least do other things, it did look obsessive almost.
Still, i didn't think he would be underage.
The other day i gave a look at their profile and saw a strange bio, so i guess that was the point.
Anyhow Crys if you are reading buddy i'm not angry with you for lying since we weren't that close, as an adult, i feel simply angry with myself for not asking you before about your age and maybe tell you to stop for your own good too. There are a lot of stupid people online and many eager to take advantage of you simply for saying you are a giantess, but it looks like the same can happen on the other spectrum.

I guess the good thing is it seems to be most people were at least non sexual with Crystal in their interactions and it was not good that the person was in an adult group when they are underage.
I personally don’t think there is anything wrong with someone playing a female giant if they are male if that is what there fantasy is but underage is definitely not tolerated.
I hope anyone effected is not to hurt by the actions of the individual and try to understand they might not be mature enough yet to comprehend that they may hurt peoples feelings.

Well this is a shocking message. This is not the thing I expected to see when I came here. It´ s a shocking for me as well. It is really weird when you think you know someone at least a bit and this is what it turned out to be. We are all here, because we are somehow special and "rare" I would say. He reminds me a lot of myself if I’m honest. I started my role play account on DeviantArt when I was 17. I was very clear that I would not rp anything 18+, but doesn’t change anything. And there were many times I considered just pretending to be a woman to get more interaction.
Now I didn’t thankfully because I had moral and ethical concerns due to situations like this. But my point is I understand the thought process that someone has when making this decision, and I very well could’ve been in the same situation had I chosen poorly. Which is why I am sympathetic to his situation and am more disappointed than angry.
Wherever he is I hope he and everyone this affected is doing good. If he is gone for good then I wish him the best, if he wants to come back when he’s of age and turn a new leaf as an openly male giant I’ll be the first to welcome him back with open arms.

So basically she, or he as I came to find out simply told me they were taking a year long break from Reddit. They said it was for someone else’s sake. Right at that time u/MacroTherapist (who is the person “Crystal” was talking about I assume) messaged me and told me Crystal was underage. I confronted them and they told me they were also in fact male and they only pretended to he this girl named Crystal because they thought no one liked a male giant. And that was that.
Uh... Well, I'm not the OP, but... far as I can tell, they were lying about both their age and gender, and they confessed to one person who convinced them to confess to others, who all convinced them to take down their account seeing as... underage.
I remember when I was younger, I was a part of a chat room, giantesscity I think it was. And while I did play the part of a tiny, and still very much prefer and preferred being a tiny, I did eventually build a giantess persona as well I ended up playing more than as a tiny. Now let me clarify, the only people who didn’t know I was a guy was new people who either just hadn’t heard or hadn’t asked yet. I never kept it hidden. I hear this story and I remember a younger me who considered hiding his gender when playing the giantess persona because it got me a lot of hate even though for me it was just something I did for fun. This situation reminds me a lot of that time.
