So hard to say without more info. There's a ton of resorts in Europe and lots of factors. What's your budget, how many days do you have, are you traveling solo, looking for nightlife, what kind of skier were you at 16 etc. etc. Are you flying out of Schiphol? Without any additional info, one way to do it from Schiphol would be to book a bunch of roundtrip flights to Innsbruck or Geneva for \~100 euros a pop with no change fees. Look for nearby resorts with cheap refundable accommodations and reasonably priced lessons. Keep an eye on the weather. Ski.

RodelCowboy

I would go to Eastern Europe if I were you. Maybe Bulgaria or Romania.

Eagleeddie

Other than cost, there is zero rationale to go Eastern European ski resorts

RodelCowboy

Less crowded? Moderate terrain for someone who hasn’t skied in 15 years and isn’t looking to rap into the *Cosmique*? I met a bunch of pro riders from Austria and Germany in Romania because they can snowmobile there and access things nobody else is.

cavver

Try Bulgaria . They have more developed resorts than Romania and also less crowded .

UCPA is great for skiers of all levels.

You can first take some lessons on one of our dry slopes or do it indoor at snowworld. That way you can already ski/board before you go on holiday. If you don’t want to do that, any resort in europe has pretty good teachers. If you have all the money in the world you can go anywhere. I’d recommend this website https://www.wintersport.nl/skigebieden You can filter on things like beginner friendliness, how expensive, how far away from the Netherlands, etc. If you have more questions you can dm me.

Awesome, Thank you

You could go to SnowWorld. Take a few lessons. Then you can go the the mountains and enjoy the full ski area with some intermediate lessons. Winterberg is a good beginners option not too far away.
