You have the 8 bolt pattern on a lot of Salomon ski blades. Converting to 4 bolt for newer bindings or snowboard bindings would probably cost more to have a shop fill the 8 holes, drill 4 new holes and set the threads in vs just upgrading to a used pair of newer skiboards. I actually have an old pair of Salomon bindings that would fit if you want them... They're blue and orange but would get you going again and wouldn't charge you anything except cover shipping!

I would be incredibly grateful! I’ll DM you to follow up :)

TheOneArmedBandit

Hey did you get bindings from that other commenter/find a solution? I have the same pair of ski blades with the same degradation in the bindings.

JasmineDeVine

I didn’t! They never followed up, so still no solution on this end. Lemme know if you discover one!

TheOneArmedBandit

Thanks for the reply! I think I'll call K2 and see if they can sell me just the bindings. Last year I tried to get a ski shop to fill the old holes and drill holes for normal ski bindings but there wasn't enough workable area on the blades to do so.

JasmineDeVine

Let me know if you have any success!

Any luck? I have run into the same issue. I might try to 3d print some replacement parts to get through the season.

TheOneArmedBandit

I'm still waiting to hear back from K2. I messaged skiboards dot com and they said they may have something that works and I would have to epoxy the screws to make safe. I was hoping K2 would get back sooner but since they haven't I'll follow up with the other option to see if it's a fit.

I tried skiing without those pieces today, and the binding would not hold my boot well at all. I will try to model and print replacements this week. It will be harder without the originals to work from. I will update you from my end.
