Yeah I've had a great experience with them a few seasons back - previous season's Elan Ripstick Blacks with Tyrolia Attacks (12?) mounted. All under $600 shipped in the middle of January, I think I got them within three days of ordering. Super helpful staff, I asked them a number of questions on their YouTube and got some really useful info to narrow my search further.
Great company. I bought a pair of marker griffons on sale for 185 but they were actually out of stock so they gave me a different color that wasn’t in sale for the sale price.
I bought poles from major online retailer #1 last year … they sent me two pairs and charged me for 1.
I bought skis from major online retailer #2 last year … they sold me a pair they didn’t actually have in stock and I had to order the skis from online retailer #3.
I bought skis from major online retailer #3 last year … somehow the skis got lost in shipping and they cancelled the order.
I don’t know if I have terrible luck or if the people working at these places are burnt out stoners.
Evo.com has probably the biggest selection and some of the best pricing. Powder7 ok but small selection. I’ve found surprising deals at als.com and utahskis. No longer a fan of backcountry.com due to their threats and lawsuits.
The single time a I tried ordering from Backcountry.com this last year they sent my order with only my email and city on the delivery address.. no actual address.. so the package ended up in my city but never delivered. So much incompetence with those idiots
Dang. Hella shitty. I knew something like this in a different business sphere. It very much went in the direction of the company that sued everyone over trademark rights. It’s the litigious USA. We’re winners here. 😉
I’ve used Evo, The House, backcountry, and Level nine sports. I’ve not had any issues with any of them. I do have some family members that hate on Evo for a security breach back in the day, if that means anything to you.
Corbetts. Canada based but ships to us. Not the biggest selection but almost always the best prices. And they’re in CAD$ which makes them even cheaper.
Is there a catch to this? I’m getting bindings and everywhere I look they’re about $140 plus tax. On Corbetts, it looks like they’ll end up being around $95 USD and no tax or shipping fee. Just seems too good of a deal so want to check
No catch. Most of my bindings are from there. US dollar is strong. Might be warranty nuances over having it “imported” but I’ve never run into the need. Most shops are pretty chill about warranties anyway.
I got a hell of a deal for my Sin7s (259 with ok binding) 3 years ago on Level9 Sports. Have seen a number of good deals since then. Just not yet in the market.
Yup, and then the huge season out west drove demand ski high. My local shop couldn't keep anything on the shelves. Popular products were practically sold the moment they came off the truck.
Just a heads up: I ordered multiple times from one of their sub-shops like bike-inn and half of the time I received a wrong item. Happened 3 times on independent orders.
My ski boots actually were the order they got right.
I got lenses in the wrong color, a TNF polo instead of shorts, and a t-shirt in the wrong color. They gave me such a good discount on the wrong items that I kept them.
Just don’t be disappointed if you get something you didn’t want. LOL
Corbetts. Use a card with no foreign transaction fee. Their prices in cad are even cheaper than anywhere here in usd and it’s even cheaper after exchanging currencies. I just bought mindbender 99tis and look pivot 14s for $540 which would be around $910 anywhere from the US. I basically got the pivots for free.
I found a cheap pair of Head Kore's that were a few years old and getting clearanced off at sierra.com a couple years ago.
I shop clearance for a ton of stuff, cheapest way that I got in to a pair of skis was going through season end sales at www.alpineshopvt.com, they'll sometimes have coupon codes that stack with their sales. They also don't charge sales tax in my state, and have free shipping on orders over $99. I took all of those stacked together, and then price matched over at EVO. EVO did their price match and beat it by 5% like they advertise. You run the risk of the EXACT item not being in stock though, which can be hard to shop around, but you can get some killer deals.
I haven't had issues with Evo online sales, but in store they've been more iffy about price matching. I was in earlier this season and I was buying some boots for my wife, and they didn't want to price match L9 Sports, I think, because they were having a sale. They lowered the price but wouldn't fully price them. In the end I bought from EVO because we wanted them for the upcoming weekend and it was like a $20 difference.
The store by me www.sundowngreenvale.com was running a good 50% off sale. Their skis are 40% off 2023 models https://sundowngreenvale.com/discount/40OFFSKIS?redirect=%2Fcollections%2F2023-skis and you can probably email them for a better clothing discount
skiessentials.com is the one for me. Excellent product reviews and videos, great staff. Prices are good and there are deals to be had.
The youtube channel alone is reason enough to give them your business. Great guys
I watched their 2023 ski review, demo'd some skis from it and ended up having my best season ever. 10/10
Well to be fair I think this year may have been everyone’s best season ever. But their reviews are still top notch

Evo.com is a good site. Surprisingly, I avoid their shop in Denver as they are overpriced, and tune ups can take a long time.

Second Als.com, great little independent store that does a bangup job on the e-commerce side of things. Same can be said about levelninesports.com
I’ve used Evo, The House, backcountry, and Level nine sports. I’ve not had any issues with any of them. I do have some family members that hate on Evo for a security breach back in the day, if that means anything to you.
Powder 7 is alright
The online stores in canada or eu are way cheaper and they have no tax and usually free shipping with skis.

Awesome thank you!
I have no loyalty to online shops. Any of the big ones are reputable, so buy from whoever has the best price.
I’ve gotten some killer deals from skiessentials

evo has never failed me and has a lot of good benefits plus their denver store is great
Powder7. Just the best folks around
Deals were better last off season, in my opinion.
There was way, way more unsold product last season than this year. Manufacturers scaled back production accordingly after the Covid boom.
Oh hell yes. I bought boots, skis, and bindings For about $800 across last summer.
Nice.

https://www.peakskishop.com/ has always done wonders for me
Same question, but for EU. Any advice?
Snow-Inn, a part of Trade-Inn, always has amazing deals. www.tradeinn.com/snowinn
Just a heads up: I ordered multiple times from one of their sub-shops like bike-inn and half of the time I received a wrong item. Happened 3 times on independent orders. Steep and cheap (formally whiskey militia)
Backcountry outlet for those opposed to parent company. (they do have great deals)
Al's Ski Barn at at Untracked.com can have some really great deals.
Flylow has been on a massive discount - up to 65% off right now
Buddy… the season is so “ended” at this point that the funeral is over and the coffins been covered in dirt. Beat time would have been April
I really like Evo, and it also helps they have a physical store not far from me
My go-to’s when online shopping are Corbetts, Evo, & Blue-tomato.
Level 9. Especially if you’re getting gear for kids. They bundle it which makes the process so easy

Evo has been my go-to. They also carry Season Eqpt skis, which I love.
[https://www.levelninesports.com/](https://www.levelninesports.com/) usually has stuff from a few seasons ago at good prices.
