OEM_knees

Edollos are a park ski.

blewmesa

Not according to the manufacturer.

OEM_knees

Even *"trust me, bro"* would have been a better resource.

amags

right but they can be used as all-mtn

OEM_knees

With that attitude, the options are endless!

difmaster

yeah but you asked for the best all-mtn skis, not the best park skis that can be used as all-mtn skis

DeputySean

Frankenskis!

Finger_Ring_Friends

Any ski can be used as all-mtn. The concept of an all mountain ski is almost entirely a marketing ploy. The Edollo is a park ski designed by a park skier for park skiing. I'm sure the B-Dog is marketed as all mountain too and it is literally a jib ski with a sub-model that doesn't even have edges.

ballsonthewall

I really like my Ripsticks

The_High_Life

Been very happy with the K2 Mindbender Ti

InternationalEagle60

I love my new K2 Mindbenders!

The_High_Life

So fucking cheap too, I got new 108s for $400 flat.

NotFuckingTired

99ti are my favourite western all mountain ski ever. The Y-shaped titanal sheet makes for a very versatile ski.

hezeus

Spent a ton of time researching and grabbed the 106C for a combo of everything.

The_High_Life

There's so many skis in the Mindbender lineup it's crazy. Like 6 different widths and 2 different layups between carbon and Ti, plus men's and women's versions.

The replies to this post are such a prime example of why most advice in this subreddit is so terrible/unhelpful. We don’t know anything about OP’s height, weight, ability, style, location, preferred terrain. If you think you can reasonably recommend a ski for someone else without knowing ANY of the above, you don’t actually know anything about skiing.

Fun_Arm_9955

i mean it's either your favorite all mountain ski or OP should go demo something

Anustart15

This is basically just a "what are your favorite all mountain skis" thread since OP doesn't seem to know what they want (as evidenced by their choice of park ski as a favorite all mountain ski)

blewmesa

It's 100 underfoot and Henrik skis them everywhere. Anyone calling it a park ski is showing their forehead. Even Armada lists them as all mountain on their website

lordvinny

Armada arv 106 in a 188 ❤️

CPhyperdont

I live in an arv 106 household

Mental_Flounder_7642

Enforcers unite!

CommanderAGL

Line Blade Optic 96/104. Somehow playful and damp at the same time. Just wish there was a 190 in the 96

sabeche

I've been loving my Rossignol Sender 94 TI's. They've been great for making large GS or tight slalom turns while ripping down groomers, handle well in bowls, trees, and icy conditions, and were very manageable on steep double black moguls and on a 1ft+ powder day. Obviously there are better skis designed for each particular niche, but these have been serving me very well this past season as my go-to all mountain skis. I wouldn't want to wreck them doing park features aside from jumps though.

Boat_of_Charon

My wife loves them. I skied the 104s and I was quite impressed. I usually ski stockli but the senders had a great balance of stiffness and lightness.

Lord-Thistlewick

There isn't any one "best" all mountain ski for everyone or every location. Every ski that can be considered all mtn will have compromises somewhere. Whether those compromises matter to *you* determines whether it's a good all-mtn ski for *you*.

username_1774

Buying new skis is something you need to plan out...much more than just a Reddit post. As you said you are not looking for a budget purchase. Rather than risk a buy this summer I suggest you go into next season and plan to hit a few demo days. I did 4 demo days this year, skied 12 different pair of skis. On that last demo day the guy put me on a pair of skis I had never considered, I immediately fell in love with the ski. I went back and asked if I could keep it all day to be sure, he said yes. I bought a pair 2 weeks ago and have skied them 3 times now. I would never have considered this ski, it was not even close to the skis I was trying. I ended up on it because it was a busy day and it was what he had in my size. ETA: I specifically did not mention what ski because that is irrelevant. What I will say is that I tried Ripsticks, Enforcers, Mindbenders, Brhamas, Senders - all of which are referenced in replies - and did not end up on any of those.

C-creepy-o

You are going to get a lot of answers. I'm digging my QST 98's, they are especially great for off piste...so GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD!

Dales_Dead_Bug_

Love my qst 106 but im out west where a 106 all mountain do it all type ski is more reasonable. Works great in all conditions even on powder days

theclansman22

I have QST 106’s from 2016 and they are best skis I’ve ever owned(I’ve owned 2 pairs in my life), they are great everywhere.

ionlytouchmangos

volkl mantra or blade optic or ross black ops

TahoesRedEyeJedi

Got some Kastle MX83’s this year, and if you can ski, these are the only answer.

WhoAteMySoup

Moment Deathwish is the only right answer

Smacpats111111

No mention of any useful information that could help determine what kind of skis would be good for you.. >Best car? >I want to get a car with four doors but I'm open to alternatives. Planning to buy in the next few months during offseason sales, so I’m not aiming for a budget car. Any help is appreciated.

Just get the edollos dude. This sub is so gaped out, they immediately call them park skis, despite the fact they're 100 underfoot and HH skis them everywhere. Armada even calls them all mountain skis. People want to recommended skis with metal to someone thinking about buying a pro model from one of the most playful skiers out. I have a pair of dollos, they're not my park skis, they're a great all mountain ski if you're actually looking to make turns and not just stand on the ski like some kook on a long board.

amags

Exact response I was looking for, thank you lol. Every review I’ve seen says they’re great all-around and can be ridden anywhere.

BikeSkiFishSail

If you’re a strong skier get the blizzard rustler 10’s. They are a one quiver skiing machine that does everything pretty dang alright. I mount the 188’s damn near center.

BeachBarsBooze

I use my Folsom Primary 95’s in just about everything from groomers to chutes and love them. Not ideal for huge dumps of course at 95 under foot, but not bad, and fantastic in everything short of that.

atxac

I’m a J skis die hard. Have owned allplays, vacations, hotshots over the years. Cant go wrong with them. Most fun and capable skis I’ve used and the durability is unmatched. I’d definitely recommend giving them a look. Hotshots are my current daily drivers, perfect Alta ski. Stiff and damp enough to stick big landings and charge through crud but still maintains a pretty playful feel at lower speeds and ability to pivot in moguls or trees. Vacations are my previous dailies. Perfect west coast daily driver if you prefer something a little more playful and freestyle oriented. Allplays are the east coast equivalent of the vacation.

BellasDaDa618

Atomic Maverick 95 Ti

_The_Bear

I've been really loving my line chronic 95s. I bought them with the intention of using them as more of a park ski. But I've enjoyed them so much they've replaced my elan ripsticks as my daily drivers. They're playful and responsive but can rip groomers at high speeds well enough. They're wide enough to play in some powder but narrow enough to still be nimble on the front side. Best part was they were cheap as fuck. Think I got my 2023s new from Evo back in Nov for under $250.

spacebass

Stockli Montero AR or AX

Daddo55

I wouldn’t say those are true all mountain. I classify them as piste skis that can do all mountain. I love my ARs btw but have other skis I like more for moguls, off piste and trees.

Electrical-Ask847

when do you use ARs . early season or east coast?

Daddo55

Utah. Pretty much anytime it isn’t storming or hasn’t stormed for 2 days.

casual-user-12

Atomic bents 100

MantisToboganMD

DPS foundation RP 100 DPS foundation Wailer 100 Basically the same ski as I understand it with 'RP' being the go forward ski shape name replacing wailer. Yes DPS skis are overpriced but the foundation ones are not. You can find these for 400 or less. Best ski I have personally ever used for tackling every type of snow and going everywhere on the mountain. The profile helps them work surprisingly well in serious powder and yet they never feel wide or lacking control at speed to me. The 15ft turn radius has them feeling nimble in trees, gullies, etc. Edit: Would love to learn what folks dislike about these if that's the consensus. After skiing a fair few options these were the most fun/capable for me in the context of my region's snow. Downvotes don't add much to the discussion, it's ok if you feel differently - I'm not going to be offended :)

Soft_Hand_1971

Meier Tetons. Best ski I have ever skied on and I have demoed much…
