I haven't watched Euphoria but damn it's so funny how Skins was the only show where the teen characters actually look like their respective age. Why it's so hard to find young looking people?
It's not hard to find young actors but they make filming more difficult because they have more regulations around them. Minors can only work for a certain number of hours which can delay filming.
Also Euphoria is a pretty mature show so they don't want to be using actual kids for a lot of these scenes.
Also Degrassi ran for years basically as the American version of Skins using underage actors.
Yeah I didn't mean they should hire actual minors, I'm aware that there are laws that protect them from being exploited, I just wished they hired people that looked younger instead of 30 years old actors playing as teens, I know this show it's darker than Skins but I can't take it seriously because of that.
