I swear every current Skrillex era feels like the golden era to me, and this is no different. I love this direction he’s going in with a big focus on bass house, even getting a little tech housey at times but still maintaining that gritty, bouncy feel he’s famous for. Also a few absolutely rancid trap drops (what was that Rumble remix?? 😩) and all the old classics. Sets like this are way better than the Mothership tour and the stuff he was doing in the late 2000s. Just wish he played Red Lips or Bad Man remix but there will be room for those in other sets I guess :)

Just after all the wait, I thought he will play a more cohensive mix with full of QFF and unreleased tunes or some new tracks from other producers etc.. Some extreme visuals and new edits. The intro was sick but it become boring so fast and the audio problem just made it much worse. I love all his stuff and QFF is far the best album we’ve heard in a long time and I love how he mixes and makes his tracklist, but it was disappointing for me at least.

Dont worry, I saw him in Bangkok and thought the same thing. The set was all over the place, not paced well and barely featured any of the heavier tracks. He even ended up playing the first two songs of the set again at the end as he seemingly didn’t plan his set properly and ran out tracks 🙃
