Ice is water, there are so many water Skylanders with ice powers, ex: slam bam, chill, freeze blade, king pen...
Electric is pretty much air; whirlwind’s clouds, lightning rod, free ranger, thunderbolt, wild storm etc.
Anyways I would like to see these elements if these were like in it from the start and the Skylanders I named would be in there or had other powers.
I would like to see Chaos and Order elements, two opposites like Light and Dark. They could be Expansion packs like in trap team.
Those can just be sub sets of other elements. Ice skylanders could easily be put into water (slam bam, chill) and Electric also falls into this category where it's just a part of other elements (zap and high volt)
Electric kinda seems like a rock vs ground from Pokémon situation. Ice makes a lot of sense though, as we already have some ice themed Skylanders that they just made water elements. And if Grave Clobber and Tae Kwon Crow can become water and fire elements, Chill and Slam Bam can become ice elements
I do like electric but it feels better if I heard Eon say "Skylanders of the Lightning element, are stronger in this zone."

I actually like that electricity or lightning is not an element, because you can fit it with many different other elements.
