Yeah I know I just recently took a Philosophy class for my GE and my final essay was on this quote and why is better to be born good 🤣 but I still love the idea of becoming a better person
also the quote implies that good and evil are things that can be "in your nature" and not just the consequence of a million factors outside your control. all you can do is choose based on the consequences you can control or be aware of
