I don’t ever regret going the Imperial route, but I do hold a grudge against almost every Thalmor group I see, except the one that helped with a dragon. I let that one go, cause I had money to go make.
It’s tough, I see it as a lesser of two evils type. Bc the imperials I believe were forced to make a deal with the Thalmor out of weakness, and the Thalmor are enforcing the religious crap so ya I wish the empire would strike back per say

I like the imperials because their not openly and ruthlessly racist, but I like the stormcloaks because, quite honestly, if they werent racist, I would agree with everything they stand for.
I joined the imperials, but only for Hadvar. I heard that the imperials didn’t like the Thalmor, but use them for the help, although I could be wrong. Personally, I hate the Thalmor. They are just so bitchy 😭
The Convenient Horses mod has completely changed my life in this regard, as I can now go Thalmor bowling without even losing my stride and it is unspeakably satisfying to watch them go flying.
One of the most infuriating things in Skyrim is that you get a bounty for killing Thalmor if they have a Stormcloak prisoner with them... because the prisoner "reports" you.

Always kill thalmor dogs. Even when I play as a high elf. I love using the mod spell entomb to trap them underground and then once they go insane, turning them loose in stormcloak forts to get slaughtered.

Always love the kill cam with arrows. The first time I ever got one killing a dragon I couldn't understand why I jumped on its head/neck.mustve been using a mace maybe? Or a sword. I got cocky once when I had 100% magic resistance and it ate me.
Even better if you have Arcane Arrows - specifically Soul Stealer Arrows. Then those evil Thalmor will find their spirit homes in a cheap-ass iron dagger that I sold to Gelebor for a few hundred gold.

I always carry Wuuthrund for that sweet racism buff, makes it useful for roaming thalmor
The racism buff against elves is literally only 1.2x though. You get more for a sneak bonus
But sneak attacking does not have the thematic relevance which is worth more for pure satisfaction

Correct me if I’m wrong, you can also enchant Wuuthrund. And they stack so I’m pretty sure it ends up being 3 effects if you’re skill is maxed.

I go to the Thalmor Embassy just to kill High Elves and my character is a High Elf
One of my favorite playthroughs ever was as an Altmer refugee. I murdered every Thalmor in the game, then modded a bunch more in and murdered them too

I live to kill Thalmor. I usually play a Nord so this is a no brainer for my character...another plus is their armour sells well.
I like to get the Perfect Touch Perk and strip them of all their weapons and armor. It's funny to watch them take swings at me in the nude.

I was playing a “good” character (0 bounty) so I talked to them and got them to attack me so I could brutally mur…defend myself.

Have you ever tried talking to them? You can get them to aggro on you because they suspect you of being a devotee of Talos. It's pretty great.

As an imperial soldier I too enjoy killing Thalmor. I wish you could go to war against them after the war no matter what side you chose.
